What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
Late post for me! I took a personal day from work because I thought I'd be too tired from my weekend (and I have plenty of PTO stockpiled up that I never use!). I was right! I'm very stiff and sore today and have been hydrating and stretching but otherwise having a (mostly) lazy day. Also doing laundry and editing a high school senior photo shoot from a couple weeks ago. Over the course of the weekend I walked/jogged over 11 miles. I did finish the 5k--started at a jog, but walked most of it. Jogging on concrete (at varying inclines) is not the same as the elliptical and my knees and shins are reminding me!
qotd: I suppose I'm not quite the "machine" I could be, I eat more vegetables and the occasional fruit than a lot of people in their honeymoon phase. But I knew I needed to eat in a way that I would be able to sustain long term, and for me that includes produce.
breakfast: I tried a protein coffee drink I picked up at a Fresh Thyme grocery store. It was 10g of protein, 1g carb, and 80 calories, sweetened with monk fruit. It wasn't terrible!
snack: string cheese, pickle spear
lunch: beef stew
dinner: ****tail weenies and sugar free bbq sauce. Lol story there: DH was supposed to take them to contribute to a potluck at work but last minute decide he was going to play hooky and stay home and be lazy with me. I was irritated because the weenies have been thawed in the fridge and need to be cooked, so I guess that's our dinner plan :P I'll likely freeze some of the cooked and prepared weenies for later eating (I'd bought enough for a group of 50 or so)

Hi!
I have not posted in the thread a lot.
QOTD: A lot of the bariatric recipes since I hate making a whole dish for just myself. I also don't drink any of the shakes that are "milky". I found a protein shake that is "candy" flavoured and is more like a juice.
I am 7 months out from surgery.
B: Greek Yogurt
S: Protein Shake
L: Spaghetti Sauce
D: Probably spaghetti sauce again. We have a lot leftover.
