What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
morning friends!
I had such a fantastic weekend with NO PLANS but managed to squeeze in plenty of fun stuff...the weather was just GORGEOUS.
Saturday we had Story's soccer in the morning again, then I took DH and DD home to nap, I grocery shopped, went to Hobby lobby for my new exciting project: Story's Halloween costume, and went to Ulta and spent unnecessary $$ on more makeup I do not need LOL. Sunday DH had to work, so Story and I spent the whole day together, we went to the park, searched the woods for fizban's nest (this is her imaginary dragon) and found it! Then she asked if we could go to the movies, so I took her to see Christopher Robin. it was cute but parts were a little boring for a 3-almost-4 year-old. She still did very well though and didn't try to get up or leave at all so it was a success! I think she will do even better when I take her to see Smallfoot next weekend--it looks super cute and it's animated.
We spent the later part of the afternoon walking to the beach down the street and playing in the sand and then we came home, she helped me cook dinner and then she wanted to watch the "Elsa movie"...so we popped in Frozen & snuggled up on the couch before bed.
She was a perfect angel all day and that is a rare treat these days LOL...So i definitely enjoyed it and took lots of pictures.
I have also FINALLY broken my month-long stall, and I lost 2lbs this weekend, 2 more and I'll be in Onederland!
QOTD: I could not drink protein shakes or powders at all post-op for about 6 weeks...they just gave me terrible nausea, so I had a hard time getting in my protein for a while. I haven't been using them lately either but I will sometimes use Premier in my coffee for a while just to get enough protein.
B: coffee w/ SFcaramel pumpkin syrup & sf creamer, HB egg & 1/4C cottage cheese (egg salad)
L: leftover chicken cheddar broccoli bake
S: buddig turkey pack
D: parmesan shrimp/cauliflower rice
have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning Peach and Menu Family,
QOTD: I, too, got burned out on protein shakes.
Accountability: Yesterday: Had a tiny slice of cake yesterday at my niece's baby shower, but I accounted for it in MFP. Protein - 67, Calories - 1,154, Carbs - 174.
For the Baby Shower I made a fruit salad with watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, & green grapes. I carved a watermelon to look like a baby carriage and used a cantaloupe for the baby's head and orange slices for the wheels. The baby's blanket was the fruit. I also had another huge bowl of fruit for people to eat from. The "baby" kind of looked more like a bald, little old man than a baby, but I tried. LOL.
B: glazed donut, prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Healthy Choice meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, fruit salad, banana
E: walking dogs
Have a great day everyone!
