What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
I'm obviously not fully awake since I posted this to the general forum by accident!!
Morning pouch pals!! Another week ahead of us- hopefully with more fall-like weather for the most part. I've got some fall meals lined up for the week. I booked our flight for Florida in February- just hubby and I :-). We still haven't booked the family vacation for November-- ugh, it becoming less likely since we need to ensure time to get passports.
Qotd: what popular post-wls item, habit etc could you just NOT get into?
Me: ricttoa bake, never made it (although I probably would have liked it) and premier protein. I'm one who shys away from what everyone raves over.

Morning menu folks! Another rainy, cool day here. What a way to ring in Fall! DW & I went to Longwood Gardens on Saturday and had a good time. We rented a scooter for her so she could see the outdoor gardens with me and that was really helpful. We had planned to stay over and meet my parents on Sunday afternoon but DW got really sick and the weather was awful so we came home early. Oh well, at least Saturday was nice. Friday I'll post a few pics.
Accountability: I'm up almost 2 pounds this morning and it is probably a combination of too much sodium and too many BLTs. Back to plan today.

Mornin' All!
I'm headed to Galena, IL today to meet up with a childhood friend. Busy week ahead - the teaching/learning organization (for people age 50+) starts in full swing this week, and I've signed up for classes or lectures every day (except for today). Yikes - what was I thinking?? Oh well, should be fun.. who said retirement is boring??
QOTD: I never liked Premier RTD protein shakes, either. I can taste the protein in them - ugh.
3 years 3 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1 T tahini and blueberries
MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein vanilla cardamon latte shake
L: will be in Galena - so not sure. Something light and bariatric-friendly since I overdid it too many times last week
AS: will be on the road - will have protein bars in tow!
D: TJ's grilled chicken strip, some kind of vegetable
Good morning Peach! Florida in February is always great. We leave for Florida on 11/4, and I can't wait (though we will be home for a couple of weeks at Christmas).
My day is busy with 2 Alzheimer's related events and a mentoring orientation class at my WLS Center. Our support group leader reached out to me because she thought I'd make a good mentor for our region.
QOTD: Drinking protein drinks of any brand. I had them for the pre-op diet and for the first couple of months post-op when I had to to ensure adequate protein intake, but I just don't like drinking my calories!
2.5 Years post-op (maintaining below goal for 22 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Chicken and cottage cheese
D: fish tacos
S: meat stick or protein bar

Good morning all. That is a reminder that we need to book some travel plans for the school year as well. In the midwest, students get two weeks off for Christmas and then a spring break the last week of March. They don't have the February and April breaks that I had growing up on the East coast. We are likely going to Florida for Spring Break and I'm not sure about Winter break. My son who skis would like to go to Park City, but we will see.
QOTD: I haven't gotten on Miralax or any sort of fiber yet, my center seems to be avoiding it and looking for shorter term solutions. I have my one month appointment Friday and thats my number 1 (no pun intended) topic of conversation.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs
Snack: Deli Turkey and cheese
Lunch: Premier
Snack: Deli Turkey and cheese, SF pudding
Dinner: Ricotta bake
Have a great day all

Good Morning! Let's get this Monday started. We made a kinda spur of the moment decision to go to the A's game yesterday (I say spur as we talked about it Friday/Saturday and it was a little dependent on the current standings). It was the last regular season home game with the ability to seal post season play...well that didn't happen. The best way to describe it was "low energy". I hope our weather realizes it's supposed to be Fall already...we are projected to hit 98 on Wednesday.
QOTD: The only thing I can think of is the protein shake in my coffee. I was already using Fairlife for my coffee when I started seeing using the shakes and don't typically have shakes around anymore.
Time since surgery: 4 years 1 month
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
