So sorry you are having this problem. Don't know anything about a surgeon but I have had reactive hypoglycemia too. I think your stats are very low, I think more people get it. Mine started when I was 9 years out and I have to be careful of what I eat. I have been able to mostly control mine and it seems to come in spurts not all the time. Thank you, Deb. I should have clarified. It's true that a significant portion of gastric bypass patients have some type of reactive hypoglycemia, but it's typically manageable for most. When I say only 3 in 1000 have PBH, I'm referring to DEBILITATING reactive hypoglycemia. I will definitely keep everyone posted on my progress.
