What's on your thursday Menu RNY'ers?

Hi all! Happy Thursday!
This weekend is the autumn equinox! I love both of the equinoxes and both solstices, and always mark them in some way. September's is especially cool for me, because it marks the true start of fall (my favorite season), and it marks the ingress of the sun into Libra.
I went for a really long beach walk yesterday with the lab and her cute but very hyper canine friend in the late afternoon. I threw sticks out into the water and both of them plunged in and swam to recover them! Two synchronized swimmers, huffing and puffing with vigor. Very cute! There was a long, steep climb down from the road to the water, then all the crazy driftwood - ancient trees, some 100' long, piled up all over the beach, made for some tricky maneuvering and climbing. I jumped off of a tall trunk onto the sand, and my poor knees immediately let me know that that had been a foolish move. But they feel ok now, thank goodness.
QOTD: I eat much more chicken than eggs, so I would opt for chicken, although I acknowledge the perhaps superior versatility of eggs.
First: tea tea tea!
B: ham with smoked gouda
L: tuna
D: chicken
S: if I am still low on protein, I will have a 1/2 Cinnamon Buns shake.
Speaking of shakes, has anyone tried that new Santa Fe Chili by Unjury? It sounds pretty good - I think I will try it. I lived in Santa Fe for a little while in the 1970s, and it's still one of my favorite spots.
Have a fantastic day, my fellow RnYers! Xoxox!
re: Unjury Santa Fe Chili - I'm on their email list so I've seen stuff on that. I'm wondering what you'd do with it - maybe mix it with meat and/or beans? I can't imagine just drinking it (I've had their chicken broth one and just drink that in my shaker cup - but that seems like a weird way to drink a chili-flavored one..). Their new RTD shakes are pretty good, too - better than Premier Protein RTD, in my opinion

It may have some sort of pseudo-beef in it that you chew. I've encountered that before in a packaged shake-like product - in that case, the "beef" was soy. I keep my distance from most soy though, as I have hypothyroidism, and soy is a thyroid antagonist. But I don't know how Unjury has made their chili. (I remember being a newcomer in Santa Fe, out for breakfast, and being asked if I wanted red or green chilis with whatever it was I ordered. My old boyfriend, a local, told me that green was the way to go if I didn't want to instantly brand myself as a raw tourist. Funny, the things we remember!) I hope that Injury offers a sample packet, as I'd like to check it out.

Christmas chile is the best, you get a little of both:-) New Mexico green chile is so good though -- if we had regional protection for foods like they do for Parmesan or Champagne, NM green chile would have to be on the list!

Is the Santa Fe Chili a flavor of soup? My center was so adamant about being off shakes at 1 month and eating real food. I was happy to oblige as I couldn't stand them. I ordered the unjury unflavored protein and one envelope of chicken soup but never used either. I just found them in my cupboard the other day, I had totally forgot about them.
