I don't know how you manage traveling so much for work!!! Today the afternoon snack included a million carbs again - cookies, candy, popcorn... AND an ice cream cart full of Haagen Daz bars - my word!

morning my friends!
my new phone was delivered yesterday and I am pretty excited. I haven't had a new one in about 4 years and my old one was getting really slow and kept freezing all the time...I got a galaxy s9 (I've never been an apple person) and it is AMAZING. I wasted far too much time last night playing around with it and transferring all my stuff from my old phone/adding apps, etc. and didn't get a damn thing done...oh well.
I will do a longer workout tonight to make up for it.
QOTD: I'd pick eggs too I think, for the versatility and using them in recipes...although I do love chicken, I feel like there are other meats I could use just as easily--like Turkey!
Accountability: I was strangely really hungry yesterday afternoon and there was a tray full of leftover sandwich wraps in the break room from a meeting, so I took half of one (chicken salad) and ate about 2/3 of it. I did look up all the macros on it afterwards and it wasn't terrible, I was still under my cals for the day but a little higher on carbs than usual. I don't feel bad about it. I ate a very light dinner instead of planned leftovers- just a buddig ham pack and a string cheese.
B: cinnamon vanilla nut coffee w/sf creamer / L&F greek yogurt
L: lunch meeting at work today- we ordered chipotle- I'm getting a chicken burrito bowl w/no rice. I will portion it out before eating so I don't overdo it.
D: I forgot to set something out to thaw. it might just be leftovers again

Good Morning and happy Friday-Eve! Thanks for starting us out! I have had a bunch of chaos already this morning so I am hoping the rest of the day is smooth sailing.

I'm usually out at a coffee place by now, but it's rainy and dreary so I'm back in bed with a kitty sleeping on my chest. I'll get out sooner or later, though - I don't like spending all day in the house.
I was supposed to have lunch with two friends today, but one texted us this morning that she wants to re-schedule. Thank God - I have been having too many lunches out this week, so I'm feeling fat - plus I have food that's going to rot if I don't eat it soon. I will GLADLY pass on lunch today. I suggested to her that when we reschedule, maybe we could just meet for coffee or meet at some place that has things like chili or yogurt parfaits. I can't stand big plates of food! (I never eat it all - but then, I ends up bringing half of it home when I already have plenty of food here...)
QOTD: I guess chicken? Both are pretty versatile, but I definitely eat more chicken than eggs.
