Hi all, Happy Wednesday!

Another gorgeous day in the PNW! This is my first real fall since I moved away from the East coast 18-19 years ago. How I've missed it! The leaves are beginning to turn colors, it is crisp and cool, and I am so happy to be in this beautiful world!

QOTD: Everything was challenging to schedule in the beginning, but it's all much easier now that I'm in the groove. The only thing I sometimes still have trouble with is occasional pain and discomfort when I eat something my pouch says is a no-go. The last bad episode was a couple of months ago with some large shrimp that my stomach just wasn't accepting. I was in real pain for many hours. But usually I am fine, so long as I pay attention to my body and stop eating when it has had enough.

I am fine with separating my eating and my drinking, taking my vitamins, drinking a ton every day, avoiding foods which don't promote my weight loss, getting enough protein, exercising, weighing my food, and recording every bite. I weigh myself first thing every day and find meticulous record-keeping of my weight and intake on a daily basis to be very helpful.

Right now, at 15 months post-op, I am experiencing a stall in losing. Though of course I look forward to this stall breaking, to be honest, I am ok with it. I understand that I have already lost just a couple of pounds less than 200 pounds already. I have gone from having a BMI of 53+ to being in the healthy/normal BMI range. I think my body is saying that it needs a brief break before moving further down the scale. Nobody can maintain on 650 calories a day, so it's just a matter of time before my weight loss resumes. I'm ok and will just keep on keeping on, though I am having a bit more fluids.

First: tea, 57 ounces

B: ham with Swiss cheese melted on top

L: tuna

D: turkey

S: if necessary, some Greek yogurt

Wishing everyone happiness today!

Thank you Janet. I'm here for however long it takes, and then beyond and into maintenance! Sooner or later I am sure the scale will realize that resistance is futile!
