Morning everyone!
why is this week dragging so hard already? it's only Wednesday?! ugh...
the weather here has been all over the map...I guess it's relatively normal for the Midwest but seriously, how does it go from being over 90 degrees to below 60 in a matter of 2 days? then back up to the upper 80's, etc...it's like come on mother nature, make a decision! are we gonna have Fall or is Summer sticking around? I'd like to know what to wear :P
QOTD: also still a newbie but I have also noticed it's not that hard for me to avoid sugar/sweets or even simple carbs. I am sure a lot of it has to do with still being early out and the hunger still not super present, but I think the mindset that I am afraid of dumping will help me. My friend that had RNY almost 10 years ago says she still gets dumping syndrome...so I am not really interested in testing it.
B: cinnamon vanilla nut coffee w/sf creamer, 1/2C cottage cheese and 5 strawberries
L: leftover parmesan turkey italian sausage & spaghetti squash (DH made this last night and it turned out SO GOOD)
S: baked apples w/cinnamon (didn't eat this yesterday)
D: probably leftovers again since we have a ton and i don't want them to go to waste!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

QOTD: yes to not drinking with meals- a non-issue. Love working out. Who would have thought? Not a chore at all.
4 years post-op and had my my Doc's visit yesterday. Short story- I have terrible GERD which has been especially bad lately. have been living on fish mostly and soft foods to keep things calm. Have had a few vomiting episodes lately. Having an endoscopy Monday - which I expected- what I didn't expect was - I was thinking possible hiatal hernia they are thinking internal hernia. Plus I am having an abdominal cat scan. Pretty much all the scenarios I play in my head end in surgery. Not a happy camper. A laughing camper because you can't make this up...but not happy. Just to add to the excitement most likely losing health insurance at end of month. Not that I won't be able to have some but will need to scramble to figure out.
So my New year's resolution may be going out the door #nosurgeries2018.
Oh and the Ferritin- still 14. ugh. No man's land.

Sorry the GERD hasn't improved and will likely lead to surgery. Ugh on the health insurance. Hope you can find a non surgical 2019.
Not sure if I'd say that I live 'exercise'- I love running but anything else is a 'just do it' thing for me
