Good morning everyone! Both of our boys had braces for much longer than the original plan. I am working from home because I have a Board meeting tonight. Also, working from home on Wednesday breaks up the week nicely. Next week I have two days with doctor's appointments so that week will really be broken up.
QOTD: Its super early for me so i'm not ready to declare anything easy but I have found that getting to my fluid goal has not been that difficult.
Breakfast: Turkey sausage:
Snack: Cottage cheese
Lunch: Premier
Snack: cottage cheese, SF pudding
Dinner: Turkey meatballs
Have a great day all!

Just curious how much you are drinking a day. My doctor said to get 64 oz but soon after surgery I found that I needed at least 120 to lose weight and stay healthy. Now if I do vigorous exercise I often get 150 or more to rehydrate.

I try to be around 80 ounces most days.

You are doing great for being only a few weeks out! I encourage you to keep increasing a bit more. I count my protein shakes that are water based and my ice tea too. Also remember that SF popsicles count as liquid and are yummy!

Washing the big cup that is on my desk would be a good start to increasing a little. And SF popsicles have been great!

Good morning! Work has been busy and I feel like we're probably ramping up for the end of year season, so I don't expect it to slow down. And of course, we're having all kinds of system/tech issues.
Qotd: high protein is easy for me, and I love vegetables. Portion control still continues to be an issue for me if I am somewhere I can't measure/weigh my food. I don't feel the restriction I was hoping this surgery would give me, so if I didn't measure I could easily just keep eating until I puke. Which is a lower threshold by far than it was before surgery, but still a very slippery slope if I don't measure. I don't understand how some people can just "eat until their tool tells them to stop!" And still lose or maintain.
Breakfast: coffee with 1/2 a premier
snack: Greek L&F
lunch: spinach salad with 2 oz chopped chicken, string cheese
dinner: beef stew in the crock pot. I added the last of my garden grown potatoes, but there were only about 4 "B" sized little red taters to go in the whole pot. I'm also putting in some garden green beans, onions, carrots, and I thought about chopping up and adding some kale just for fun since I have a ton of it again.
