Jen
my DH got me some syrups on amazon but I am sure they have sugar alcohols...they came in a trio, by a company called Jordan-skinny syrups.
BUT...this weekend I found Pumpkin spice K cups at ALDI, so the coffee has the flavor without any sweetener- you can add your own of whatever you like! it's really good!

I found the Jordan's on Amazon and the image of the ingredients and nutrition info say Sucralose, not SA's. I also found K-cups at Trader Joe's but thought I'd try some syrup as well.

morning everyone!
Saturday was full of fun, Story had her first soccer game and she even scored a goal! her team won the game but there is one kid on the team who is obviously dominant and he is probably the oldest, he scored the other 5 of the 6 goals. LOL...I was very proud of her though, she loved it and can't stop talking about doing it again next weekend. We went to a little touch-a-truck and petting zoo event being hosted at a church nearby us afterwards and she had a blast at that too...then we went to my parents' house to celebrate my dad's birthday, had dinner (my mom was very sweet, she made lasanga but she made a little mini one for me with just meat sauce and cheese!) and then dad had a bonfire in the backyard.
We then spent most of the day yesterday at the ER with my DH, he was having some chest pains in the morning that were not going away. It was mostly related to when he took a breath so I wasn't super concerned it was anything with his heart, but he was definitely freaked out.
After about 3 hours waiting for test results, the doc told us it was Pleurisy and there was nothing they could do besides give him some pain meds since he cant take NSAIDS and follow up with his PCP...
So at least he has a little peace of mind, and the meds help but it sucks there's nothing else they could do...or tell him what the cause even was--he doesn't have any other symptoms.
QOTD: I wish I had learned to play an instrument when I was younger. I love to sing, but I feel weird singing without an instrument--maybe I feel exposed or something. I've sung with a band a few times and done lots of Karaoke, but I feel like if I was behind a piano or guitar, I think I could write some good music. I've always been very crafty/artistically inclined and I can make just about anything, but I do wish I had the time to learn an instrument. I just don't think I have the patience it would take anymore.
Also learning to Garden or take care of plants in general--same deal. I really love the idea of it, but not sure I have the patience to spend the time learning it all.
B: pumpkin spice coffee w/sf creamer, greek L&F pumokin pie yogurt
L: leftover chicken crust pizza
S: baked apples w/stevia &cinnamon
D: some other leftovers- we need to get rid of them!
