Good morning.... Back at work.. Another messed up week I have meetings in another branch on Wednesday and then on Thursday I work a half day and hubby and I leave Thursday night for Cleveland we are finally taking our 25th anniversary trip. A year late but better late than never right? Today is another busy one so I'm gong to get at it.

QOTD: I wish I had the talent craft... I have no talent to craft. I have tried so many different hobbies and crafts and nothing. The only one I was even remotely ok with or even finished was latch hooking (I think that is what it was called) I made a Christmas tree skirt.

Food for the day:

B: peperoni and cheese and coffee coffee coffee

L: steak

D: hot dog and peas

Have a good day my friends....

what will you be doing in Cleveland? My mom's family is from there (I still have two first cousins there) - and we lived in and around that area until I was in high school....

We are going to the Rock n Roll hall of fame and as luck would have it the Red Sox are in town so we are going to see them play and we are going to see the house from A Christmas Story. Just touristy stuff but mainly just chilling and having fun....

Mornin'!

I'm in a hotel in Skokie, IL. I have a post-op appt with my plastic surgeon in Chicago later on this morning. It's been a little over five weeks - hard to believe that much time has gone by! I spent yesterday with my third cousin in the 'burbs - it was fun. We met about four years ago though DNA testing (my dad knew her well - I'd never heard of her before then), and we've gotten together several times since then. It's like we've always known each other!

Calories were high yesterday due to eating out at both lunch and dinner. I made decent choices and only ate half (or less) of my food, but still. It's really easy to see how people could plow through about 3000 calories a day (or more!) while being out-of-town! (I wasn't anywhere near that - I was around 1800 - but that was with trying to be careful!!). Today will also be a challenge. I had some leftovers for breakfast and will again at lunch. Light dinner for me tonight!

QOTD: I wish I was musical. We have some very musical people in my family, but I didn't get that gene. I've tried flute, piano, and guitar - never kept up with any of them.

3 years 3 months out:

B: 2 oz beef shawarma with 2 T yogurt/garlic sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: 1/2 grilled chicken wrap

D: probably yogurt! Or maybe TJ's chili lime chicken breast strips

Good Monday Morning! I'm looking forward to getting the week started because I feel better and I want to start doing more.

QOTD: I am kind of musically talented I wish I would have kept up with piano lessons and playing the ukulele. I played in a small 'folk' group in elementary school. Actually got to see my elementary school music teacher play this summer and I felt like I was back in music class.

More resting today but hoping to go back to work tomorrow.

B: PP chocolate shake

2nd B: oatmeal (weird craving)

L: turkey and cheese roll up

D: meatballs and roast veggies

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
