What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
I am so glad that you got to spend time with Taylor. I know you are so happy with horses and that was a wonderful way to say goodbye.
How is Saralisa doing?

I am trying to stay positive but if she improves, it will be very slowly. This weekend we ran some errands and I had to be very watchful that she didn't wander off. I'm glad that she was able to get out for a bit but it is very tiring and frustrating sometimes. Thanks for asking.

Morning menu folks! I'm dropping in before my trainees get here and the chaos starts. Another group of trainees start today and tomorrow, but my third (or fifth depending how I count) doesn't arrive for another 2 weeks so it shouldn't be too hectic.
I have an appointment with my pulmonologist this afternoon. I've put it off for several months because I am doing well, but it is time to see him again and just check in. I like him and really appreciate that he was the final straw that prompted me to have bariatric surgery. My asthma and sleep apnea had been getting worse and worse (as well as my blood pressure and diabetes) and he said to me, "have you ever considered having gastric bypass surgery?" I ended up going home and talking to DW about it and several friends and the next week I made an appointment for an open house with my surgeon...and the rest is history.
QOTD: when I was growing up and in school, I sang alot in choirs and church. I had a very good contralto voice, but several years of smoking and not keeping up with it has made me a poor singer. I wish we lived somewhere I could take piano lessons again. I think I would enjoy playing again.
Menu:
B1: Isopure C&C protein shake w/ iced coffee
B2: scrambled egg, chicken
S: chomps
L: fish, salad
S: Buddig's turkey packet, apple
D: hamburger
Exercise: It's supposed to rain all day so no lunchtime walk. Hopefully a kickboxing video or swimming laps
