What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
I went with BMI when I saw how much my weight fluctuates day to day. Saying I wanted to be 205 was great but being that exact # every single day is literally impossible. By watching BMI I can ignore the smaller fluctuations, but I'm in that range.

Good morning! Yesterday was busy for me--my mom came in to town with her boyfriend and we went to a vendor fair, stopped by the cupcake shop so he could pick out a fancy cupcake, (accountability: I did purchase and consume a mini cupcake) and then went to Dave and Busters and had lunch (I ordered a Thai chicken salad) and played games for a few hours. They had a really fun virtual reality attraction for Jurassic World that the 4 of us went on. NSV: neither DH nor I would have been able to ride/fit just 6 months ago.
They came back to the house and I unloaded some of my garden produce on them, made them smell some scents for an upcoming online Pink Zebra (it's similar to scentsy) party, and then when they left, I headed to the gym and still did 2.5 miles on the elliptical and upper body weights. My upper arms are very "extra skin-y" these days and I'm hoping toning the muscle might make them look less so (though I do realize I can't tone away skin)
mom continuing with my tradition of lazy Sunday (laundry and dishes still) and working on editing a photo shoot I did last weekend, though making a trip to Trader Joe's sounds like a good idea. I haven't been in a while.
breakfast: coffee, might make turkey bacon and eggs once DH wakes up
lunch: since we eat later breakfast on Sundays, lunch is usually just a yogurt or other small snack if we need
dinner: maybe steak? I'll have to dig around in the freezer and see what I find to thaw for dinner. We have plenty of options, I just didn't plan ahead.
ill throw in a protein shake at some point if it looks like my numbers are too low
yesterday was my 7 month surgiversary, here's my monthly side by side :)

Forgot QotD! We don't decorate much for any holiday because we live in a tiny house with no basement or garage, so we wouldn't have anywhere to store it for the off-seasons. But I have a feeling when we move to a bigger place, DH and I will go all out creating a haunted graveyard setup in our yard :) we both love Halloween decor!

Morning Buddies.... Quiet day so far I have enjoyed a cup of coffee and started watching a show on Netflix my daughter suggested. Atypical and I'm liking it.... The rest of the day is going to be laundry, some work work and puttering. Yesterday after grocery shopping what started as puttering turned into a psycho clean of our office/music room. My poor husband went into the college to fix a computer problem and came home to a dump run... I am purging stuff like never before. At some point I need to tackle my daughters memory boxes I have 20 bins of her school projects, report cards, dance costumes, concert t-shirts, etc... I need to go through them and decide what she might want and what is really me just being sentimental.
QOTD: We don't really decorate for Halloween when Emily was home we did not even carve pumpkins! She hated the guts of the pumpkins and refused to do it so we made a big deal of buying the costume. Now Christmas is a whole other animal....
Food for the day:
B: bacon and eggs
L: sausage and peppers
D: taco meat w/ cheese and
Well I have chatted long enough time to get after it....Have a great day friends....

Good morning everyone~ I had a great relaxing Saturday. I went swimming again. I had hoped for 60 minutes but only made it to 45 -but it was nonstop so that is better than last week by far. I was able to use my Apple watch for its intended purpose finally! I bought it a year ago specifically for swimming to track my time, laps/distance and speed. It was awesome to see the results. I am much slower than I used to be, but that will improve soon enough. Sunday is NFL funday and it's all about football today. We will be taking the dogs to the park for a good walk this morning then we are headed out to watch the morning and afternoon games at Buffalo Wild Wings. Looking forward to some great games - the energy is high today. Go Pats!!
QOTD - If it were up to me, I would only have some candles, and a few little knick knacks. Rob however loves to decorate for Halloween. He'll put up orange and purple lights and our big skeleton - Bonesie - but the rest of our decorations are just fun and cute. The kids love our house. The boxes are out so any day now we will be transformed!

I don't have a great feeling about this game. Jacksonville on the road, no Edelman and a couple of other injuries. I think this is the toughest game of the year for the Patriots.

I totally agree. It should be good though, hopefully not too frustrating!

Good morning all. Janet, I love mums. When we lived in Massachusetts they were our favorite to decorate the house with - all the different colors.
With all of the commotion about surgery and recovery I forgot that my anniversary and my wife's birthday are fast approaching. Friday is her birthday and Saturday is our 28th anniversary. I'm planning to work from home again on Wednesday so I will have to go out and get her something. One thing I know for certain is that she doesn't want to go out - next weekend is Laver Cup (tennis) in Chicago and she has tickets with her friends to every day.
QOTD: We have a big inflatable spider that we put out in our yard. There are some houses in our neighborhood that really do a great job decorating, i always love to see them.
Breakfast: Deli turkey and cheese
Snack: Greek yogurt
Lunch: Last of the hospital protein drinks with PB fit
Snack: Deli turkey and cheese, SF popsicle
Dinner: 1/2 Premier, broth
Have a great day all.
