Jen
Good Morning! I am glad it's Friday and I am pretty much finished up on a project I have been working on so I am hoping for a good day. Nothing big planned for the weekend, Em has a poster she has to work on for school and I think we are going to search for some parts of our Halloween costumes.

qotd: we are in the process of installing a wood burning heater stove in our house. Man did we underestimate the cost!!! The chimney is what is left at this time and we have to get 15 feet to go up the side of the house and out the top. It's pricy.
will save a ton though long term because propane is expensive!!!
food for today
chicken
chicken
salad
coffee
water
not sure on dinner thinking fish
more chicken
Mornin'!
not much on the agenda today other than the regular monthly dinner with some of the retired co-workers from a former job (I worked there 1994-2002). I'll get the crab cake appetizer, I think. Most of the things on the menu are way too expensive for me (more than $30) or not bariatric-friendly. I probably should have passed on this dinner, in retrospect... I guess I should go out for coffee somewhere this morning, too, just to get my rear end up and dressed and out of the house.
QOTD: definitely it would be wearing fall (& winter) clothes. I have way more of those than summer clothes - plus, I like them better!
3 years 3 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/2 small mango (I am currently having a love affair with homemade coconut yogurt with mango pieces on top)
MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein vanilla latte shake
L: TJ's turkey breast slices, light string cheese, strawberries
AS: piece of protein pumpkin pie
D: crab cakes
Happy Friday all,
Let the busy, birthday weekend begin!!! We're having my son's party with family tonight and his friend party tomorrow and my daughter has a Cross Country meet tomorrow morning. Then the Vikings and Packers are playing on Sunday and my daughter has a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in evening. My weekend is going to fly by!!! DH and I are planning to go to the Maroon 5 concert on Tuesday night - my birthday is Wednesday and I'm the big 40 this year so I want to do something super fun. Maroon 5 sounds like just the way to go to make it a memorable 40th birthday. My son and I share a birthday; he was the best present ever!!!
With the cold weather coming, I look forward to snow and getting out on the slopes.
B1 - Premier Protein
B2 - hard boiled egg/ sausage
L - Protein of some sort in the cafeteria with veggies
D - chicken breast and veggies
S - greek yogurt or string cheese, if needed.
Here is a picture of my sister and I at the end of our 10 mile bike ride the other night. It's a beautiful trail and I can't wait to be out there when the leaves are changing color.
Have a great weekend!!!
HBD! And I am so jealous of the Maroon 5 concert. I wanna go!!!
