Hello RnYers! Happy Friday!
A bit of a lazy day! Working until mid-afternoon, then going shopping to try on some clothes. I won't buy there, because the items I'm eyeing are part of a big online-only sale, but I'll go there in person first to be sure I like the things I'm considering. Actually maybe they'll give me the online sale price and save me the shipping!
Weight still at 155.4 - singing the Jeopardy theme song here. Enough already!
Qotd: October's my favorite month, so rich and colorful, no longer hot but not yet truly cold. I just love it! From boots and cashmere and tights to pumpkins and spices, to the gorgeous changing leaves, to me it's the most magical and beautiful of times! November enters the scene with the closing of the All Hallows Eve trio - Hallowe'en, All Hallows day (All Saints), and All Souls day - ancient, mystical, and legitimately spooky. The natural world becomes less flashy, more somber, solitary and brooding. The garden is asleep and the trees are dark and bare, and here it will be overcast and drizzly. But it's also Thanksgiving time, a holiday I love!
First: 3 huge mugs of tea!
B: ham with Swiss melted on top
L: salmon
D: pot roast
S: more salmon
Have a beautiful Friday! Stay safe, southeastern friends!
Cara, you need to write a book or something. Your word depictions are so vivid I can almost see them.
