What's on your Tuesday Menu RNY'ers?
Morning Hillary and all! Another very wet morning here and it looks like rain every day for at least the next week. It is very likely that we will get some of the rain from Florence even though the hurricane itself won't hit us. I'm stocking up on things just in case we lose power from downed trees, etc.
Today will be another busy day with my trainees, I feel a bit like a mother hen checking on them and making sure that they have all they need to get started. Next week the rest of the folks arrive and I hope that we have less computer problems this time. Good for getting in my steps though!
Yesterday I went out for a 3 mile walk at lunch between the thunderstorms. It was really soupy but nice to get out of the office and clear my head. I decided to postpone swimming until tonight and hope that DW will go with me to get out of the house. She has been doing some time on our treadmill every day and slugging our new punching bag. I am proud of her for making the effort at such a difficult time.
QOTD: We had a cleaning crew that came in every other week for a while but let it go when we were running short on $$. I really loved coming home to a clean house and not having to carve time out of an evening or the weekend to clean up cat fur and tracked litter. It would also be nice to have someone make dinner every night too so I am less tempted to do take out.

Oh, good for DW for using the punching bag; I'm not an angry person but I have found boxing to be a good way to stay not angry:-) Enjoy the pool!

She really is enjoying it. She isn't a pillow puncher either but it seems to really give her a chance to work out some of her tensions. I got a great deal on it on Craigslist.

Yes, I am so proud of her. I have tried to encourage her to exercise many times but she hasn't been very motivated. But she has been going out to our little gym most days and walking and punching the bag.

Good morning!
The menu is good. Protein bar/coffee for breakfast, beef stew for lunch. Morning snack is a half cup cottage cheese with cucumber slices, and the afternoon snack is a half cup ff Greek with berries. Supper will likely be spinach-stuffed chicken breast.
If I could hire anyone it would be someone to create a clone of me that I could send to work.
Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.
I like the way you think!

Good morning all. Up early today but I'm sure i will still get distracted and manage to be just in time for work despite that. My first day back at work seemed to go pretty smoothly. I'm making an effort to take the train so that I don't have to drive home if i'm tired. Also, the traffic here is brutal.
QOTD: Can I hire someone to do my job for?
