Hi everyone,

It was a great weekend with the cooler weather. It was busy with doing a lot of errands and cooking for the week but yet very relaxing.

A big special thank you to Kelly for finding and sending Buffalo Tuna packs and a Fresno Bulldogs t-shirt!! You are the best Kelly!!!

QOTD: I have completely flat feet and have custom made orthotics, because of that it's very difficult to find sneakers to fit comfortably otherwise I'm extreme pain when walking although it is alway somewhat painful. I cannot live without my New Balance model #857. They are rather expensive, in the price range of $130 to $150 but so worth it to me. Luckily there is a store nearby called Mickey Finns and they usually have great deals on them for between $90 to $110, that's if they happens to the double extra wide in stock.

Accountability: On plan.

B: 2 eggs, 1/2 slice cheese, 1 1/2 oz grilled italian sausage

L: 3oz turkey breast

S: 1/2 ostrim meat stick

D: 4oz steamed lobster w/ just a tad bit of butter and lemon, 1 Trader joes turkey meatball, 1/2C broccoli rabe

S: 3oz turkey breast

Cals: 690, Carbs:9, Protein:97

Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

Hi Everyone,

T-minus 2 more nights with this gallbladder. Can't wait to feel better.

QOTD: I thought I wasn't a product person but then I looked around and I guess I am. PP chocolate shakes, Yankee Candles, Bath and Body Works hand soaps, Tide and Downy, Younique makeup, etc. But the thing I can't live without is DoTerra essential oils. I love to diffuse them!

B: PP chocolate shake

L: leftover bacon and swiss quiche

P: chicken on romaine, olives, pepper, tomato and a sprinkle of cheese

Have a great night!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Hello RnYers! Happy Monday!

Posting extremely late today, well past 5 pm. But better late than never!

My son texted me a bunch of old photos today from years gone by, some I don't remember ever seeing before. He's visiting his aunt and cousins on a gorgeous island in the North Sea. Growing up, he spent a couple of months there every other summer, visiting his wonderful paternal grandparents and his aunts, uncles and cousins. Such adorable old photos! Plus he sent me some of me when I was in college - I don't remember ever seeing those before. Wow, I was so slim! My neck looked about a mile long - rather giraffe-like! So interesting to catch an unexpected glimpse of who you were, way back when.

See? Giraffe neck! My hair was actually red but it looks dark in the photo. Plus I had had it permed into a headful of ringlets, whereas it looks like a hedge of frizz in the photo. It was actually ringlets. Once I went outside in freezing weather there with just-washed hair, and they all froze! When I shook my head they made a little tinkling sound! LOL!

Day 5 at the same weight, but even so I've lost 12.4 pounds since this time last month - good for this far out! It doesn't bother me because I know loss is coming. I'm two days shy of my 15-month surgiversary and am hoping I will drop another 2.2 pounds by then, because that will put me over the line of a full 200 pound loss, which is simply mind-blowing. Of course of it takes a few more days, I don't care, but I make up these little goals for myself as I approach each 12th of the month (my surgery was 6/12/17).

I am wearing a pair of black straight leg side-zip Hollywood-style pants which are easily 20 years old. The shape of my body has changed, and I'm not talking about just an overall loss of inches. My hips have gotten proportionally narrower and so have my legs. And of course, my booty is a thing of the past - once I'm done losing I'm going to try to build that up a bit again. But it is bizarre to me to look at myself and see a somewhat different shape proportionally than I had all my life. I'm still an hourglass for sure, but my hips are less flamboyantly curvy and the whole bottom half looks longer and leaner. Just odd! And since I virtually never wear pants, today's outfit really accentuates that. It is just weird to look at myself and to see a somewhat different shape than ever before, no matter how much I weighed.

QOTD: I form allegiances to brands of products which I consider to be superior in their class. But if I had to do without those things I would, though I would prefer not to be in that position. My car is one thing I would especially hate to be without. If I lived in NYC it would be different, but here I'd be terribly stuck without one, and it would not be fun. Also, my iPhone - I am a fan! And of course, the internet.

First: 38 ounces of tea

B: ham with smoked gouda

L: tuna

D: chicken

S: a handful of blueberries, some vanilla SF, carb free syrup, and nonfat plain Greek yogurt

Have a lovely evening, everybody!
