on 9/8/18 7:03 am
Good morning everyone~I'll get us started today! It's Saturday and we have a great day planned - Starbucks, to the park with the dogs, shopping, I am SWIMMING today (yay!) and a we are going to a college football game tonight - should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow is NFL, can't wait to watch my Patriot again!! Life is good! What are your plans??
QOTD - If you could pick a different career, what would it be? Mine would be a Dietician/Nutritionist. In college my major was Nut Sci, but I never did my internship. I regret that terribly. Anyway, life happened- I had my son and I ended up going into business accounting. I'm happy enough, but I still dream about how different my life would have been.

Good Morning Amy Liz and Menu Family!
Thanks for starting us off, Amy Liz!

Morning folks!! I finished a very wet 6.5 mile run, ugh. I hate trains runs but detest the treadmill. I'm gonna go to traders joes today simply because I haven't been in a while. No other plans-- probably will binge watch shows.
Qotd: I'd choose something in the medical field-- like medical examiner. No liability because your patients are dead-- and you get to give families closure about thier loved ones's last moments. My mother desperately wanted me to be a nurse- so of course I went in the totally opposite direction :-)
217 today, 3.4 years out
m1: egg, 3 turkey bacon slices, cheese stick
m2: some leftover fish from last night and maybe chicken to round out 5oz
m3: honestly I think I'm going to scale back to just 3 meals on the weekends. I start eating later in the day than during the week, and constantly feel like I need to squeeze in a meal on the weekends.
m4: ?? Depends what I find at Trader Joe's

Happy Saturday! I am so excited, I'm officially starting my house hunt in Colorado today - one step closer to my goal of being back here by 12/31/18! Then tonight we're going to see Craig Ferguson's comedy show, should be hilarious!
qotd - I would love to have a small tea/coffee/bookshop - but I think that's a tough way to make a living these days.
accountability - I was so tired last night, I went to bed at 7 and slept until about 4 this morning. I ended up low on protein As a result but I feel well rested!
B - about 2 bites of egg, 2 link sausage and 2 strips bacon
s coffee and half and half
l -?
d - caprese chicken salad at dinner before the show
have a fantastic fun Saturday!

Exciting that you are going back home! It seems like you are on the road a lot, are you going to telecommute?

I have a 50% travel job but they've expected me to be at our Corp location for the other 50% (although I telecommute up to 2 days a week when I'm at home) but I finally convinced them that was dumb and now they said I could move if I wanted so I'm headed back to Colorado! It will actually help me be home more often because I think I'm up here at least once a month for family or friend events on top of my work travel.

Mornin' Weekenders!
we went to see "Three Identical Strangers" last night at our second-run movie theatre ($3 for any show - we always wait for things to go there!). Loved it. Of course, DH bought popcorn, and I ate about a third of it. Didn't go too far over my calorie range, but still, not happy with myself. Luckily, my weight was down this morning...
right now we're at a coffee shop. Not much on the agenda for today other than a couple of errands.
QOTD: probably a dietitian or something else in the medical field. NOT a physician - I wouldn't want the liability - but I think a hospital would be a fun place to work - so much going on and there's something different every day.
3 years 3 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/3 mango
MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein chocolate latte shake
L: the other half of the grilled chicken wrap I had yesterday at a restaurant
AS: either homemade pumpkin Greek yogurt or crustless protein pumpkin pie
D: this sounds like a weird dinner, but I'm thinking cottage cheese with strawberries

Rob and I go to a second run theater we call 'the cheap seats'. You cannot beat $3 and it's a nice theater. They get you with the concessions though - $6 drinks and popcorn!

Oh...would you share the homemade pumpkin greek yogurt recipe? I've done plain in the oven and the instant pot but I tried to make a coffee flavored one -- total fail and now I'm afraid to try flavors!!
