Morning RNY'ers! So, I had an aha moment the other day. I was analyzing behavior in my head, since I'd walked down a dark hole of too many carbs. And I was looking at why I ate- vs. berating my mind for what I ate. realization was I don't do well with the unexpected. Example- a colleague brought in donuts/bagels/coffee for me and my staff as a thank you. Totally unexpected gesture that I talked myself into being obligated to take part of. Or if something comes up in my day that take me out of my usual routine (ie: meeting out of the office) I use it as an excuse to buy crap. The slightest hiccup is a green light for me to derail eating. Now how to better manage that... hmmm

(Selfish) qotd: I'm trying to plan a family vacation- we're debating between a cruise and destination. Any advice, tips etc from you veteran cruisers??

Good morning!! Happy Friday, so glad it's the end of the week!!

Qotd - I've only done one cruise so I don't really have any advice other than look for excursion options on Viator and compare to the ship excursions, you can have the same experience at less $ which means more $ to do more things!

accountability - I was low on water and protein so not a great day. Today is going to be better!

b - oikos triple zero banana creme

s - coffee + half and half

l - oikos triple zero, chomps

d - volpi prosc. & cheese x 2

665 calories, 65 protein, 33 carb

have a fantastic end of the work week (if it is your Friday!)

my pix are 1) frog and flower from a hike last weekend, 2) sunset from a friends house last Sunday and 3) me Wednesday morning in one of my new blazers
