Thirsty Thursday Menu.....
Good morning Friends.. I am going to jump in again. Another hot one today in the 802. Busy day at work and then Hubby and I are watching the nieces while my brother and sister-in-law go see Aaron Lewis tonight. So tomorrow will be a long day.. But they deserve a night out....
QOTD: Ok so going on the thirsty Thursday theme what is your beverage of pleasure these days? I drink an over load of crystal light lemonade and one in a while will have a Lipton ice tea unsweetened and of course coffee and water but crystal light lemonade is my go to.
Food for the day
B: pepperoni and cheese
L: a crack an egg
D: my brother is cooking us up some BBQ before they leave... UUUMMM
Have a great day friends.
Good morning! I've been off for a little bit but I've been ok. I stopped using the computer here at work for personal use. I caught wind of a watchdog thing going on. Since I don't like typing in my phone, my presence here is less frequent (but I'm reading)
Menu is good. Protein bar/ coffee, snacks are small apples cut up with greek yogurt. Lunch is broccoli cheddar soup my wife made and its tasty. She's a soup wizard. Amazing what she comes up with.
QOTD: I'm slamming back water a lot, but my go to is still coffee. 1 regular octane in the morning, on occasion I will have a 2nd but usually just decaf the rest of the day.
Lately I've put a tbsp of instant decaf in with my protein shakes. Good heavens that's amazing. Tastes like an iced coffee you'd get at a coffee shop.
Have a great day all!
Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.
Good morning all! This is a short week, but it doesnt feel like it. I need to retire, lol.
QOTD I drink hot tea probably way too much. I have a 24 ounce cup in the morning when I read my devotions, then another 16 oz after I get to work, another 16 oz in afternoon, and then 24 oz cup in the evening. Total of 8 tea bags a day. 1st 2 are regular but rest are decaf. Then in between the tea is crystal light lemonade.
Yesterday cals 1346, protein 85, carbs 47, fat 89. Today B 1st tea with half and half then a boiled whole egg and white of 2nd egg then more tea. L tuna salad. Dinner TBD. Snacks also TBD.
Happy Friday eve!

Good morning, all. Its raining hard here in Chicago so hopefully the New England/New York folks will be getting some relief from the heat in the next few days. i guess a mixed blessing to have a rainy weekend but it sounds pretty hot out East. Today I have to go and get bloodwork for my one week appointment tomorrow.
This is my last day of full liquids. Tomorrow starts the pureed phase. I'm nervous to be honest. Liquids has gone smoothly, but I don't know what to expect when i start trying pureed.
QOTD: Water, Decaffeinated tea and Premier. Tea is growing on me. I may not rush back to coffee.
Breakfast: Premier
Lunch: Broth
Snack: Jello
Dinner Premier
Have a good day all

I barely made it out of O'Hare last night and I couldn't believe some of the roads where the Des Plains had turned into lakes. Be safe with all that! Good luck moving to the new phase, just take it slow. My rule then (and still is), don't try anything new away from home!

I was also nervous to transition from the liquid phase. Really take it easy and try one new thing at a time. For me, I couldn't do mashed potatoes (before I realized I shouldn't eat them anyways! But they made me feel so light-headed and shaky. I could do a little mashed sweet potato though) and premade sugar free pudding (due to the sugar alcohols). I could do the SF pudding powder mixed in plain Greek yogurt though.
quickie for me class about to start.
QOTD: decaf coffee, coffee, water these days.
so i ate like a %$%$ last night- when i get tired apparently this is a trigger for me. there were multiple protein bars involved... and some nuts. I skipped the gym because I was tired then came back to my moms then ate. not sure but I was tired and my bowels are a bit behind also... i dont like being 'off schedule' in both departments.
food for today:
sausage cheese patty from mcd's
coffee
protein powder creamer
some lunch from food truck/cafe?
dinner is at the steakhouse with my dad and sister
still really tired and didn't sleep well I don't think.
