Good morning folks! I am up and getting ready for my first pilates session in a while followed by training. Should be a good start to the day.
I got the foamies yesterday after lunch. I am at least thankful I can identify it immediately as it starts and prepare by getting close to the bathroom. I am not sure what caused it though. Usually it has been when food is too dry.
Qotd: I am currently rewatching The Grand Tour on Amazon...I don't really watch new things much. I just put shows on as background noise so I end up watching the same things over and over.
Accountability: pretty good, glad to be getting back on track.
Bf: 4oz nonfat plain yogurt, 37g Julian's bakery pro granola
MS: babybel
L: 1/2 serving realgood pizza
AS: hard boiled egg, 4 triscuits
D: leftover chicken with black fig sauce

Good morning~ Yesterday was super productive and the highlight was re-joining the gym! Its been a whole year since I stopped going due to personal reasons but I have made it through and come around. I have my bag packed and will be going after work today. Not the best day for me physically - I'm very bloated, backed up and having a rare TOM day - but it's on! I have chosen to be completely open and try everything even things I had on my 'never gonna happen' list like running, spin, and the all the other high intensity sweaty classes I've avoided. There is no reason for it anymore. On my lunch today, I am going to a local sports manufacturing store (think hometown Speedo) to try on swimsuits - I already know what I want, I just don't know about the sizing. I am going to swim 1 day and week to start. All this time I've convinced myself that I'm not in the water because of how uncomfortable I am about my body in a swimsuit but that I don't care what anyone thinks. If that were true then why haven't I been in the water the last year? If no one were around, I would be swimming so what's the difference? Stop overthinking it and get out there. 50 is going to be fabulous if it kills me!! If I can't have plastics yet, at least I can do this.
QOTD - I'm out of shows and can't seem to find anything new. I'm currently re-watching season 2 of Victoria and waiting for new seasons of all my stuff!
Accountability - I ate 2 servings of yogurt w/progranola (bag is now gone) yesterday which is why I am so bloated. I am done and seriously good riddance. My whole digestive system needs a break.
21 mo post op - 159.8 -oh ****!
b-coffee x 3, NF greek yogurt w/a couple of each - strawberries and blackberries
l-turkey, lite havarti, SF bread and butter pickles
d-chicken tenders, spinach w/tons of lemon and hot sauce
es -light and fit greek yogurt frozen
v/l - on track
e-gym - a little bit of everything while getting acquainted
Have a wonderful day!

I'm hoping to surprise myself!! I get why I wouldn't like these things at 300 pounds, but now? Nothing should be stopping me.
I will miss the granola, but I can't seem to control myself - so good-bye for now!

How wonderful that you've rejoined the gym! I am full of issues about how my body looks out of clothes and though it would help me to swim, I would have to wear a full length wetsuit to get past my paranoia about my appearance, which I don't think would fly very well at the local country club pool. Though there are many ladies there with less than perfect physiques, I just am not brave enough. Yet. But in a better world or life I'd jettison my inhibitions and just go for it! I so admire you for powering through this and I know it will feel fabulous to swim! Let us know what kind of bathing suit you're getting. Your 50s will be absolutely fantastic!

Thank you, Cara! Sorry for the huge photo - I really wish I knew how to resize them.
I went with this suit. It's simple and looked a lot better than I thought it would. I also bought a short sleeved lightweight rash guard if I need it - I'm on the fence still - I'd like to not need it!

I love it, and I'll bet you look great in it! I have no idea what a rash guard looks like, but will look it up. Good for you Amy! !
Edited to add: ok I didn't know those were called rash guards. I like them! If I wore that suit with a rash guard to the pool I would actually go in! The pool here is full of country club octogenarians in big, flowery, skirted swimsuits. They'd look cross-eyed at me for showing up in that suit but I think it looks fabulous and fierce and chic! And so long as my issues are covered I could safely say to heck with them - and mean it!

That's what I'm thinking too!!
