Good morning all. I am thinking of taking my binder off today. I have it so loose that its really not doing much more than keeping me warm at this point but I'm still reluctant to part with it.

QOTD: After watching the 1976 Winter Olympics we built a luge/bobsled run in my friends backyard. It happened to be a cold snowy winter and my friend had downhill backyard. Every night we would water the track so that it froze overnight and we recorded our fastest times.

Breakfast: Premier

Lunch: Broth

Snack: SF Jello

Dinner: Premier

Have a great day

Peach, That story from your childhood cracks me up! Greetings from Scotland.

Chest pains to me meant I ate too much, too fast or didn't chew well enough. I took the safest foods at first just shakes, then yogurt, ricotta bake, pureed chili... Listen to your body! It's speaking a new language and getting used to it takes some time.

My first month back at work, I had to pull over in route twice to throw up. I realized that when I'm getting ready for work, I rush my food too much. So I started having coffee with premiere as my breakfast then food later - at that time my breakfast was usually 2 oz deli meat so I just had that for snack or lunch when I could pace myself better.

Working from home today, so very low stress.

I had a horrible bout of diarrhea last night, woke me up multiple times to run to the bathroom. I have no idea what's causing it. I eat pretty much the same thing most days, and haven't had anything different lately. It also happened last week, I was just thinking that was stress worrying about the EGD. I have an appointment on October 4 for my 6 month WLS follow up, I'll ask then.

Inching ever closer to Onederland. I can't wait!

Have a good holiday everyone!

Good morning fellow menu buddies! I missed a day because of sleeping in and a bit of craziness once awake. My husband decided to take us to a local nursery to pick out a houseplant. A giant tree to fill an empty corner. A lot of our house is empty and we are slowly working on putting up pictures and other things to make it feel like home. The tree certainly helps...but I am not exactly known for my green thumb...in fact I am sorta known for the exact opposite.

Qotd: I guess my fondest memory from when I was younger would be when my brother and I would have "Beanie Baby Wars". We didn't have a lot of money growing up so most of our toys were cheap things that mom could get at a discount from her work at the Hallmark store. Beanie Babies were one of those things, and we actually amassed quite a few. My brother was outside playing with a few of his, and I was in my bedroom reading. Suddenly I heard a thunk against the window. I looked out in time to see a second little stuffed animal sail up and hit the window again. It was on! I grabbed my bin of stuffed animals, opened the window and started throwing them back at him! Of course we just continually re-armed eachother as I threw out the window and he threw in. It lasted for at least an hour, him taking cover behind a tree and a grapevine arbor. Me taking cover on either side of the window. It was great until one of the Beanie Babies flew too high and nailed the vinyl shutter cover of the attic window. The cover broke and collapsed into the attic. My brother then ran into the house and we frantically tried to figure out how to get him into the attic to retrieve the evidence! There was no way into the attic from inside so we left it. Years later our dad had to go into the attic for some reason (using a ladder to go through the window) and he found the broken cover but no beanie baby! So my brother and I claimed innocence and got away with it!

Accountability: Getting better, although my water is still lower than I would like. I am averaging about 1000 calories and okay protein for the number of calories. I could do a little better there though.

BF: 4oz Nancy's Plain Nonfat Yogurt (not enough protein need to get a different yogurt), 37g ProGranola

MS: Babybel, 1/2 oz pork rinds

L: Crustless Quiche if it is still good, 4 triscuits

AS: Premier Protein

D: Chicken thighs with Black Fig sauce, Beets, 1 slice french bread (maybe I didn't finish the bread last night)

Dessert: Last sliver of the anniversary cake

Goals: Today I go through my clothes and try to find what fits still and donate what doesn't. If I have time I will do 1 hour on the treadmill. 90oz water, 1000 calories, 90gprotein, all vitamins.

Hi you guys! It's late here and already dark back East, but I thought I'd pop in anyway!

I loved reading all of your stories from when you were kids! I have so many sweet memories, really just fast little moments, like snapshots. One which comes to mind is when my mom, my brother and I were up at our summer house. It was a flawlessly beautiful day, with a big fluffy clouds against the cerulean sky. We had dragged out the blankets from the trunk they were stored in during the winter, and they were spread out all over the lawn to air out the scent of the mothballs. We lay down on them and gazed up at the perfect summer sky, taking turns telling each other what images we saw in the clouds. It's a sweet memory!

158 again this morning. My 15-month surgiversary is on the 12th, and I hope to be 5 pounds down by then, because that will mean that I have lost a full 200 pounds! That blows my mind! It's kind of fun to have these little interim motivational goals!

I'm trying to figure out whether to buy a beautiful faux wrap cashmere sweater I've had my eye on, and a coordinating paisley skirt, or whether to wait a bit until they go more deeply on sale. Involved in this decision too is the fact that I don't know for certain what size to buy. That is, I want to buy them a little smaller than what would fit perfectly now, since at this point every 10 pounds means a change in how things fit, and I am aiming for 142 as my 2nd goal weight, which may put me in quite a small size. But which one? I don't want to wait only to have them sell out before I pull the trigger, either. Such a luxury problem! Here is a pic of the skirt and sweater in question:

First: 38 ounces of yummy tea!

B: Tuna packet with Swiss cheese melted on top

L: Sardines

D: Chicken

S: If necessary, a little Greek yogurt

Hope everyone's day has been wonderful!

Congrats on the weight loss, Cara!! You've done tremendously well and I'm so happy for you!!

I love the outfit! Beautiful colors and I've always been a huge fan of paisley. Pull that trigger! I noticed when I was heavier a one size difference could be 40 pounds, now its about 15ish - give or take.
