I am so sorry your daughter is so uncomfortable right now! I am glad you can be there for her though and I hope that she can get relief soon!

Qotd: 2 hours till my first coffee in 7 months. Then we hike and go home and exchange gifts then go shopping for a sleeper sofa. That is our anniversary day planned out. It may be Labor day, but this awesome man has been putting up with me for 12 years, 6 of them married.

Accountability: yesterday was not good. Calories were surprisingly low considering... but protein was nowhere near where it should have been. Neither was water!

Bf: fancy breakfast at the lodge, but I don't know what exactly yet... might not be protein first though....

MS: nothing

L: back home so crustless quiche, 4 oz fage Greek yogurt

AS: nothing

D: oven fried chicken thighs from the fresh start Bariatric cookbook

Dessert: another few bites of anniversary cake.

Goals: 3 hour hike, 120oz water, all vitamins, not sure about calories but probably low again.

Meg am I needlessly worried about the Yankees? I know its already September but I still have vivid memories of running home from school only to watch Bucky Dent's three run HR.

Ha! I dunno, normally I would say yes! But this year the Sox are healthy mostly and even if they don't keep up the massive win streaks they'll still be in great shape. Whereas the Yankees are injured and battling uphill to catch our boys. As long as our starting pitching can pull itself together and the bats can get and stay productive we should be in a good place still! No wild card single game elimination for us!

Good morning RnYers! Happy Saturday!

Karen, I'm sorry to read about Saralisa. I hope that the pain will ease for her! I strongly believe that every American who needs medical care should be able to get it, instead of being forced to wait and to suffer. Would that it were so! I'm so glad though that Saralisa is at home with you, rather than by herself in Washington. I'll be thinking of you both, and saying a prayer for her wellbeing.

I am happy that September is here! Though it's not yet officially fall, it certainly is fall flavored!

Qotd: no big plans, other than a date today, which I am not terribly stoked about, but which I figure will be at the worst good practice, and hopefully enjoyable. It's been a while.

FIrst: tea! Lots of it!

B: chicken curry (just spiced chicken, no rice, etc.)

L: ham with Swiss cheese

D: unknown, but I will be sure to order something which is straight protein, likely salmon.

S: if needed some Greek yogurt.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

You probably know this, but make sure you are getting lots of fluids (64 ounces minimum). That is more important than food early on and dehydration is the most common cause of nausea.
