What's on your Saturday, September 1st Menu?
Good Morning Menu Family!
I didn't see a Menu post so I thought I would start us off.
QOTD: Do you have any special plans for Labor Day Weekend? My DD, Saralisa has been in a lot of pain and vomiting. She went to the doctor and then the hospital yesterday for an ultrasound. She has gallstones and a gallstone stuck in a duct. She needs to have her gall bladder removed. Unfortunately she does not have any insurance. To make a long story short, I will be taking care of her this weekend and not doing much else.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 101, Calories - 1,440, Carbs - 205. Weight steady at 138.8.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: Lean Cuisine 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Cheesy chicken, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt
E: walking dogs

I'm sorry Saralisa isn't well, especially sorry she can't get it taken care of. Did the doc suggest anything else in the interim while you figure out insurance?
Qotd: no Labor Day plans-- I'm going to work on Monday for a few hours. Sunday hubby has an all day thing at church, so today is our only 'together' day.

Oh no, poor Saralisa! Same thing happened to me two years ago with the gallstones. I had mine removed. I hope she gets it out and is better soon, though I know the financial aspect is daunting.
We must have been typing at the same time--I also started a thread but yours posted first so I deleted mine :P
we are going to a big outdoor outlet mall today or at least that's the plan if it doesn't rain all day. We will be eating both lunch and dinner out today and while I'm making smart choices, I'm already cringing at what my calories will be and I never know if I'm tracking accurately when I eat out.
Breakfast: protein shake before I head out to the gym, SF pumpkin spice coffee after
lunch: sharing chicken fajitas with DH (sans tortillas)
dinner: BBQ pulled pork, side salad. This bbq place makes their own croutons and they're wonderful, so I plan on savoring the 5 or so that come on the salad ;)
no other snacks today as I'm sure my calories will be higher

Thanks! I normally go after work during the week since I work so early, but on weekends I tend to go first thing so I can get on with the rest of my day :)

Good morning everyone! I'm sitting at the airport, waiting on a plane, flabbergasted that the coffee shop was playing I'll Be Home For Christmas on September 1!!
Accountability - I was did good on protein yesterday, although a bit lighter than planned because I only had my morning half protein shake...and since I had planned to have the send half in my evening decaf, I didn't quite hit the 100 fluid. But I was over 80 and I got to bed at a decent hour so that's not too bad.
On this trip, I'm going to see how I do getting my protein without the shakes -- I do have emergency shake packets if I need them but want to focus on food options.
QOTD 1- I am not sure, I'm still losing - I can tell that my dragon wings are going to be an issue, they are already getting interesting wrinkles and texture. I'm sure I'd love to do my belly once it finishes shrinking!
Qotd 2 - I'm headed to Colorado for the weekend, hanging out with friends, doing some hiking and seeing a show at red rocks, will be a great Labor Day weekend!
Menu - coffee + .5 premiere
l - brunch with my mom so probably eggs and sausage or bacon
d - bbq so probably a bunless burger

Good morning friends.... So far I have not accomplished much I have been watching the TV news for Sen. McCain. Not sure what else is on the agenda for the day. Big doings in my little town this weekend VP Pence is staying in a camp in one town up from ours so town is crawling the secret service and police. I had not heard about it yesterday and could not figure out why town was crawling with police etc. Thought I might have done something wrong...
Karen sorry your daughter is not feeling well....
QOTD: Today is kind of up in the air hubby and I have talked about finding something fun to do. Tomorrow night we are going to the races. I also brought work home so I need to carve out time for that. Next month I have three long weekends and next week I have two days out of the office for meetings so I need to get ahead of my work.
My food for the day is a total do not know... The only thing I do know is I am having coffee.

Good morning everyone~ Karen, I'm sorry to hear about Saralisa! I hope she feels better soon. Today we are headed to Starbuck for a PSL !! I will only taste Robs though. I wish they would make a SF version... then to the park to walk the dogs and grocery shopping. Tonight we are going to a party - a shrimp boil. A lot of people will be there and it should be a fun time. I saw my WLS surgeon yesterday and he didn't have any issue with my lab results. He was really pleased and said they were better than his. I'm not sure what to think - not sure if my PCP is over cautious on the few items that concerned him or my WLS is being dismissive... better safe than sorry with my health and I will follow up with my PCP.
QOTD - Kinda answered above but I will add that there will be hiking, cleaning, relaxing, football, BBQ and naps!
Accountability - I ate lunch late and was so hungry that I inhaled my eggs which made me sick. I didn't eat dinner.
