What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?
Good morning! DHs Family is in town for the long weekend from Tulsa and while I really like his family, I know it means there are going to be a lot of eating-out events. His family loves to eat, and his having this surgery was a huge almost culture shock for them, and the way we eat now is still baffling to them when we have dinner together. His mom still cooks like we each eat for 3, which I realize is just 35 years of habit.
I've started feeling kind of anxious about eating out, even though I try to make the best choices. I usually go for a good protein entree and if I can choose my own sides I go for non starchy veg or side salads.
Qotd: I'm technically the "oldest" out of 6, however I'm a twin and he's my only "full" sibling. He is the one most recently hospitalized (it was his gallbladder on top of a viral infection, not mono, but similar--he gets his gallbladder out on Tuesday!). I also have a step brother and sister--our parents are no longer married but I grew up with them so I still call them siblings. It was my step brother that had the stroke. Then I have a half sister on my moms side and a half brother on my dads. So I have a brother and sister who aren't related to each other ;) typical American blended family?
breakfast: coffee with SF pumpkin spice
snack: Greek L&F
lunch: 3 oz deli turkey, 2 slices of Swiss cheese
afternoon snack was some bell pepper slices with hummus but I dropped the container in the break room while I was shuffling things around in my lunch bag and lost it. Sad! I was looking forward to my first ripe orange bell.
dinner: I have no idea. Plans are unclear, and I don't know if I'm eating at home or going out with the family
photos: a before and after of both me and DH together. The "before" is from our wedding reception, we wore delightfully tacky tshirts. I also added a pic of me and my twin, also from the wedding reception. People always ask if we look alike, even though we're obviously fraternal. I think we do.

Great pictures, you can see the resemblance between you and your brother for sure, especially the eyes! You Before and After pics are amazing!

As everyone else has said, you and your twin have the same eyes.
Also way to go to both you and DH! You look great!

He's close to goal, and I'm getting there a bit more slowly, but once we are both at goal we plan on doing a new photo shoot--neither of us like how we look in our professional wedding photos

Boy, I understand that! Though I think that you both look lovely whether then or now, though much leaner now of course! My son got married 3 years ago this month, and I cringe when I look at those photos I am in. The ones of everyone else are wonderful, but boy did I look terrible.
The photographer did a fantastic job and she'll probably be who we get to do a new shoot, but we don't even have our wedding photos on display at home :/
however, nearly every photo frame we own is full of cat pictures!
