What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?
Yay for Friday! I have half day today and then will be on vacation until Wednesday. We are going north to a cabin in Virginia. Hope we can catch some fall like temps. Doubtful though.
QOTD I am oldest of 6 kids- 4 girls 2 boys.
Yesterday cals 966, protein 73, carbs 37, fat 57. Today B 1st tea with half and half then a boiled egg and white only of 2nd egg then more tea. L and D TBD. And snacks. But will stick to protein first.
I have no pics today but will get some this weekend at cabin so I'll have some for next friday

I'm also struggling with my weight- and my self image. When I was in the 120-130 I was so so happy and proud of myself. now that I'm 150- I'm having a real issue... yes, I'm stronger and more muscular- but it is hard looking at the photos and seeing something I don't like shape wise. Trying to balance eating like a jerk and under eating which over time leads to eating like a jerk. I'm generally doing ok and have been really vigilant last 2-3 days. Measurements are slightly up today (measure 2x a month). waiting till next week to step on the scale. I would like to be at 140 by DEC but the scale will not budge at all. I can't go down to 800 calories to get it to move either...
QOTD: I'm the baby of 3 girls. We all have names starting with 'H'. Each time the DR told my mom she was having a boy, so I was to be named Matthew.

protein pancakes (I bought eggs last night!!!)
leftover roast of brown substance (it was from the freezer and not clearly marked but it is meat)
crack chicken for dinner
Hilary - you and I share a common issue. I see the same. I am stronger, wearing the same clothes but am 25 pounds higher than my low of 178. ( I am fighting hard to get to 195) Did I look good at 178? Nah. I was freakin skinny though. No muscle. Droopy skin. Sunken face.
Sometimes I feel like I should just drop the exercise that I am doing.
Keep fighting the good fight and know you are not alone.

yes it is so hard to see that number on the scale- plus im heavier looking in pics because now i have hips and a booty where before I would wear 'skinny' style.
I am up about 1 size in pants, tops still fit the same.
really having a hard time with it- but when i was super thin I was also ill and had small muscles.
We have to remember to be patient with ourselves. this is a long long process to change your body structure in this way.
