What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?
Happy Friday menu buddies! Today my husband and I go to a local little inn for our anniversary. Typically it is a place where we use the spa, do some hiking and eat way too much food for breakfast. But this year the breakfast part will look quite different for me. Although I am planning on having my first bit of caffeine since 3 months prior to surgery. They have such good coffee that even though I am not near 6 months yet, I am making the executive decision to have a taste.
Qotd: 1 brother. I am the oldest. He is a pain and as kids I was terrible to him. To give an idea of what an awful older sister I was... when he graduated from coast guard basic training he informed me that the only reason he made it through as well as he did was because -I- was so tough on him growing up.
Accountability: yesterday was on point and it felt so good to work out yesterday... although I am paying for my long absence today.
Bf: 4oz fage Greek yogurt, 37g Julian's bakery pro granola
MS: babybel cheese
L: crustless chicken quiche
AS: high protein blueberry muffin
D: I don't know since we are going out but probably a salmon dish
Dessert tonight which will be a tiny slice of our annual anniversary cake.
Pictures, today is a selfie day. One is me prepared for the event in Vancouver, the other is me in Vancouver at the International. The third is me experimenting with makeup for today...I hardly ever wear makeup anymore.

Happy Anniversary! Your pics are beautiful and convey a lot of energy. Nice makeup too! I wasn't able to have coffee post-up for quite a long time, long enough to kind of wean me from the habit. Now I am quite cautious with it as I often find it too acidic. I like the caffeine, the acid, not so much. Black tea doesn't bother me at all.

QOTD- I have one brother and he is 18 months older than me. He always picked on me when we were growing up and basically made me feel bad about myself if possible. He lives in Northern California and has been gone since he was 18. As the first born and a boy he was always treated different than me. When my Dad died he got all of his shop equipment (my Dad was a finish carpenter) and a brand new Honda Accord Hybrid worth $34,000 and I got my Dads wedding ring- he wanted it too but it didn't fit. We are the end of the line for the family, neither of us has kids.
Working from home today, so relatively stress free. I need to make up my time from the EGD on Tuesday so I'll probably work late today. I'm also working Monday, I can't afford to miss a days pay.
I'm afraid since I stopped taking omeprazole on Tuesday that I'm getting another ulcer. My stomach is hurting again like it did when I was diagnosed. Or it could just be my fears. I'll wait until this afternoon and if the pain doesn't go away I'll take one and see what happens.
Accountability- was pretty much on target.
