What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?

Yes. The meat becomes so thin it is lacy, even falling apart, and it makes a taller, fluffier pile than an equal weight of thicker slices would make. I definitely found it easier to eat shaved without pain. Watch your deli counter helpers though - not everyone does a good job, because it is definitely more work than cutting thicker slices, and some folks will try to pass off thicker cuts as being shaved. Ask them to show you a test slice, and don't be hesitant to say that you need it to be thinner. They know exactly what shaved means, and most folks are helpful. Some resist because they find it a pain to put in the extra effort, but it is your right to have it cut the way you need it to be. It should be extremely limp and thin, and for some meats it can even be slightly translucent. Good luck with everything!
Good Morning Peach and Menu Family!
Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I got caught up in selling some things on eBay and next thing I knew the day had slipped away from me.
QOTD: I have one brother who is 3 years younger than I am and another brother who is 12 years younger than me. Also when I was 12 years old, my 14 year old cousin came to live with us after his parents were killed in a car accident on Christmas Day. So I sort of gained an "older brother" then, too.
