What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?
the end of the week, we made it! It's along weekend for the Americans-- Labor Day is Monday. I'm off technically but need to work to prepare for an event at work. Hoping to make it a short day.
Accountabilty: I've been working at staying under 215# and mostly successful, today the scale is a bit up and I'm annoyed. It's not totally arbitrary, I've been dipping into candy jars at work and I've long seen that chocolate is just a no for me. Not just in term of control, -- but it seems to add pounds in warp speed. I'm spending Sunday meal planning/ preparing to address the weeknight meal issues. I have to schedule my annual appt with my bariatric surgeon and want to be at 210. Just a week ago at my physical I was 212 and thrilled, grr on the insidious gaining . And I got my blood work back from my physical- blood sugar is perfect, A1c is normal but I'd still prefer to lower it, cholesterol/bad cholesterol is high- so I want to lower those too. I think losing some pounds would help all of that-- so that's the plan.
Qotd: how many sibling do you have? Where do you fall in the family- oldest? Youngest? Middle child? (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha, .. I couldn't resist lol.) I'm the youngest of 9, 5 boys, 4 girls.

Last night was Meet the Teacher and this morning I am t-i-r-e-d. So happy for a long weekend but today will be a long day because I have to make sure everything is ready for the children when they arrive Tuesday morning.
Accountability: What's the saying failure to plan... I can't remember it but I am sure ya'll have heard it. DH (who is an electrician for the school system) was called to an emergency job (a school without electricity) and there was no dinner when I got home. I made a salad with turkey and cheese with a ton of croutons and too much salad dressing. My belly hurt so bad and my heart was pounding out of my chest, but it passed. I need to have a better plan.
QOTD: I am the middle child and only girl.
