Good morning all ! I sure wish the weather would cool down so we could have the windows open too. Hubby will not let them be open until humidity lowers too.

QOTD I guess a "yet" is something I want to attain, but haven't yet? If that is the correct idea, then I'd say to be a better housekeeper. I have plans but never get through the entire list. A lady in my Sunday school class said, "doesn't matter if dust is an inch thick or 3 inches thick". Agreed!

Yesterday cals 960, protein 72, carbs 17, fat 65. Today B 1st tea with half and half then a boiled whole egg and then white of 2nd egg then more tea. L roast beef. D TBD. Snacks light mini babybel and something else.

Have a great one!

Cloudy and cool here today, it's only supposed to get to 75F. I feel winter sneaking up on me...

Scale was kind this morning and I'm inching ever closer to Onederland. Maybe it's because I can finally relax and not worry about having an ulcer. I work from home on Fridays so Thursday always feels like a Friday. I got a ton of work done on Monday, so yesterday I kind of coasted. Nothing urgent came up and it was relatively relaxing. I will work from home Friday and Monday so it should be more laid back. Contractors are pretty much the only ones working on the Holiday so I may be able to catch up on some projects that have been hanging around for a while. I also need to make up for the time I missed on Tuesday, I usually start early and work late.

Accountability- somehow those gummy bears jumped into my mouth last night. That was the last of them so I won't be buying anymore. Calories were high 1279, 99 carbs, 17 fat & 108 protein. For me it's the evenings, I'm good all day and then seem to eat more than I should at night. I need to work on this.

My boss has been off killing things this week, so we haven't had any support. OK he's hunting, can you tell it isn't my favorite thing?

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning all~ It's almost Friday, TG. It's been a busy and emotional week for me. It can't get here fast enough, but I will welcome the weekend with open arms, hugs, love, light, the works...

QOTD - My YET - I want to be a good grown up, if that makes sense - to be financially secure. I'm starting late in life in that department so I feel the need to hurry up and get super fiscally responsible and have our ducks in a row but you need to gather the ducks first... Marriage changes everything - buying a house, combining everything, updating policies and accounts, financial planning and more... We'll get there eventually and I cannot wait to breathe on that side of things.

Accountability - I am up a bit today - not happy. High sodium day/s - I barely peed yesterday when usually I am in the bathroom all day long... I will pound the fluids and watch the salt today and hope for the best tomorrow.

Hello RnYers! Happy Thor's-Day!

Today is beautiful! The early morning marine layer burned off and right now at least, the sky is blue and the sun is shining. It's 70 degrees: perfection!

I'm watching the lab again for the day - she is busy rolling in the grass right this minute. Beautiful dog, and she has learned to be good to the cats, especially Mia, who can neither see not hear her. Mia's sense of smell also seems to have deteriorated, poor girl. Yet despite all that, she remains very sweet and good, and always purrs loudly whenever I pet her. I try to remember her sensory isolation, and give her extra attention so she won't feel so lost and alone.

Tonight I'm going to a meeting with a group of people who are following a ketogenic eating plan. I am sticking to my plan as is but thought I'd check it out for the future, though I will probably end up somewhere between Paleo and Keto once solidly in maintenance.

QOTD: there are a couple of major areas of life I have yet to get right. This is a little depressing, as I am 64 and one would think someone my age would have it all together. But I am trying. A work in progress, that's me!

First: 38 ounces of tea!

B: Salmon with a little plain nonfat Greek yogurt. I find that salmon fills me up more than just about any other food, which is great, because it is wild-caught and plentiful up here, and so low in calories yet so high in protein!

L: ham with smoked gouda

D: A repeat of breakfast - salmon with a little plain nonfat Greek yogurt

S: chicken

Have a glorious day, everyone!
