Morning folks!

I spent some time last night going through my giant bag of clothes to get rid of and sorted them in piles according to size so I can allocate them to the people who want them. One of my friends has gained some weight since being on steroids for her arthritis and said she will trade me my bag of too big clothes for her bag of too small ones so it's a win-win.

QOTD: Core strengthening and muscle building! I'm starting to try some new exercises, hoping this will help with my sciatica!

B: cold brew iced coffee w/SF hazelnut creamer, 1/2 C cottage cheese w/ Medium nectarine
L: leftover chicken crust pizza
S: greek L&F yogurt (if needed)
D: Crockpot Mississippi Chicken

Have a fabulous day everyone!

Good morning and happy hump day! Today when getting dressed I had to change my pants and blouse several times because suddenly they are too big and look frumpy?! Things are shifting and I'm losing inches which is great! After settling on a more fitted outfit, I felt fat. Is this ever going to end? I got a call from my PCP about the results from my blood test. He said I tested positive for H.Pylori and my protein level was borderline. He has requested more tests and sent everything to my WLS who I see on Friday. They said everything else looked good and have mailed me a copy. I forgot to ask all-the-questions because I was surprised by the results. Anyone else have these issues?

QOTD - My latest little goal is to organize the house/garage. This last year has been crazy. I have mounting clutter I have not dealt with from my parents, my son, the wedding and a very busy summer and lot of procrastinating. I'd like it done by mid October to be ready for all the holidays and decorating.

Accountability - great

21 mo post op - 156.0

l-turkey, lite Havarti, mustard, dill pickle

Have a great day!!

I know just what you mean. It's all a process! I don't think it will ever end completely, and in fact I kind of like it, because I did my best to ignore such things for years since no matter what I wore at 300+ lbs., I neither looked not felt good, and there were mighty few things that even fit. Now shopping my closet feels luxurious, an embarrassment of riches, even though many things don't quite yet fit, and yes those definitely make me look fat!

For the most part, I can wear everything in my closet. Unlike at 300+ though, everything looks pretty good, fits well and is comfortable! It truly is a luxury and because it's all new - I feel super spoiled and have no right to complain! Even after losing half my body weight I hate that I still feel fat. Who'da thunk.

Another busy busy morning. Blood draw for the endocrinologist, podiatrist appt, dropping off the home sleep test box, then baking with a friend. Topping it all off with party planning during the baseball game tonight.

Qotd: One small goal for this weekend, to do the Snoqualmie falls hike back up from the bottom without struggling. This will be my fourth time doing it, the first since surgery.

Bf: late today because of blood work. 1 high protein blueberry muffin, 1 babybel

MS: nothing probably

L: crustless chicken quiche

AS: 2 kiwi, 1 ostrim snack stick

D: leftover bariatric cookbook chimichanga

Dessert? Greek yogurt with blueberries and protein powder if my protein is low.

No math yet, so not sure about goals. But I had a cortisone shot in my toe and was told no exercise today.

I had my EGD yesterday, sore throat and puffy lip today. But the good news is the ulcer is completely gone! My surgeon told me to discontinue taking the omeprazole and carafate, which makes me very happy!

QOTD: I want to clean out and organize my garage by donating all of the things I no longer need and taking the rest to the dump. I have 4 kitchen bags full of clothes that are now too big, and there will be more before long. What a great feeling.

Accountability- I didn't eat until after noon yesterday due to the EGD. I also had been craving pancakes so that is what I had for breakfast. Overall I was OK for calories but low on protein for the day. Back at work and back on the program today.
