What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?
Mornin' All!
I'm hoping the storm last night didn't do too much damage, although I wouldn't be surprised if more roads around here are closed off. I guess I'll venture out later this morning, so I'll find out soon enough...
I was going to go to a visitation this evening and the person's funeral tomorrow, but I really have no desire to go to the visitation. I probably should because I know this family pretty well, but the idea of standing around chitchatting, enjoying punch and cookies while a dead body is lying there never sat well with me. I'm guessing the funeral will be open casket, but at least it's easier to avoid the body - and the whole feeling of the thing is different so it doesn't bother me as much. I much prefer memorial services these days. And funerals are at least OK. I don't like visitations, though...
QOTD: it definitely would be making final decisions on our kitchen counters and screened porch. Life can move on after that...

Good Morning! Peach, I hope your son has a great first day of 8th grade. Getting back to the school routine is no fun. I am dealing with some personnel issues and have a few employees going through some rough personal stuff so my mind has been racing.

Hello RnYers! Happy Wednesday!
A busy day planned today between work, shipping, overdue vacuum surgery (detangling the beater bar from tightly wound long hair - I hate that!), and overdue vacuuming. Then getting together with friends. I'd like to see Christopher Robin at the movies tonight, hopefully that will work out.
QOTD: To take another online class in Adobe Illustrator this fall.
First: tea - I will try that Butterscotch Blondie flavor, sweetened and with cashew milk
B: salmon - the salmon i made last night was excellent!
L: more salmon with a little Greek yogurt as a condiment
D: chicken
S: possibly a few blackberries with a little plain Greek yogurt
Wishing everyone a sweet and kind day!

Oh Butterscotch Blondie? Is that caffeinated or decaf? Either way, I think I need it, lol

It's a black tea by Tazo. It's interesting and I like it - they really got the taste of a baked dessert in there. Sweetened and made with milk, it's quite indulgent! I haven't yet tried the other box of their dessert teas i picked up, Vanilla Bean Macaron, but I'll bet it's yummy, too. Cassie recommends Lemon Loaf, also from the same line, but I haven't yet found it locally. She says it's like drinking cake!
QOTD: Organize my closet and clothes so it doesn't fall like a house of cards everytime I go in there. I am for the first time compiling a pile of clothes for goodwill since being in maintenance with clothes that still fit but are either too worn out looking or for some reason I don't like them as much as I thought.
B: Overnight oats w/protein, latte
B2: 1/2 lite English muffin w/whipped cr. cheese and lox and TJ everything bagel spice
L: chicken and zoodles
D:Turkey italian sausage/ricotta frittata
S: greek, yogurt, turkey slices
Ex: gym, swim
