Morning and Happy Tuesday. It's cloudy and cooler here today, which is good. It took me 90 minutes to get to work this morning, which is bad. I literally could run to work in a shorter period of time. I guess I'm going to have to leave earlier tomorrow.

QOTD: Sweaters and scarves. I love a cozy sweater.

My plan: I feel like I'm starting one of my "I can't eat" phases again, so I'm just going to roll with it.

B: 3 oz ground turkey, 1/2 c cauliflower rice and parm cheese. I didn't even eat 1/2 of it.

L: I have leftover steak and carrots with me, but I may have made plans to go out. We'll see.

D: I planned on shrimp, because it's a late night at the gym. But I may not want to waste the shrimp if I'm really don't "I can't eat" so we'll see.

S: I was too late to get a coffee again, but I brought a yogurt for before the gym and I'll add some nut butter. I also have a mini kind bar with me for between classes, since if the owner knows I took a class before spin, she won't let me on a bike until I eat something in front of her. I tried to chew a mint lifesaver. She was not amused.

E: Booty blaster and spin.

Good Afternoon!

Just finishing up my lunch hour and have a second to come in and read/post quick. Its been CRAZY today at work. Super busy!

QOTD-I just love fall, especially since we moved to Georgia 12 years ago. (From Michigan) Its just too hot here! I despise sweating on Friday nights at the football games. My son graduates in 2 years..after that I think we are on the trend to move back to the north somewhere. Not sure where though.

B-Premier Protein Drink

L-3.5 oz salmon and 3 asparagus stalks (Lunch was brought in from a pharmaceutical rep) I ate half of mine.

D-Not sure. Maybe a bunless hamburger. A supplier from my DH's work is taking us out to the local pub. It used to be a wing fest...but haven't been able to stomach those since my surgery. I've tried here and there but just makes me uncomfortable.

Have a great rest of the day!

Good morning everyone. It is going to be a gloriously beautiful day. I am leaving on a trip on Thursday, so today I need to start getting ready. Pay bills, pedicure, laundry, etc. My tomatoes are coming in like crazy, so those have to be dealt with. I will make sauce with the red ones and salsa verde with the tomatillos. My freezer is getting a work out.

3 years, 9 months post op:

B: egg, bacon

S: Chicken sausage link

L: Pesto chicken thigh

S: 4 oz taco meat, salsa

D: 4 oz grilled salmon, green beans and mushrooms

S: 1/2 cup bean and ham soup (if I want it)

Totals: calories 861, carbs 28, protein 93

Have a great day!

Hi Menuers,

I am in active shooter training right now. A little anxiety building before the school year begins.

QOTD: My favorite thing about fall is apples, pumpkins and gourds. Any fall festival or craft fair and I am there!

B: overnight oats: 1/4 c. oats, 1/4 c. milk, 1/4 c. Greek yogurt

L: a tiny bit of lettuce, a sliver of onion, small sliced tomato, provolone cheese and turkey. Grapes

D: bunless burger with cheese and sliced tomato

I rode my bike last night so I will ride again tonight.

Hope ya'll have a good day!

That has to be so stressful, it's such a shame we have to be ready for anything now.

Hello RnYers! Happy Tuesday!

Finishing up orders today. Had a wonderful weekend, including having lunch on Sunday with my son, my DIL, and her mom. We went to a gorgeous place right on the water and watched the ships. I ordered what I thought would be ok - a crab, shrimp, and salmon sandwich with cheese melted over it. That sounded safe and good to me. I requested this to be made without the bread, and they complied, but when it came in a little ramekin it wasn't just seafood and cheese, it was some sort of creamy dip-like concoction with bits of seafood and bits of colorful pepper. I did eat it and it was good enough, but I wish that the description had been more accurate - I would not have chosen it had I known. I don't even know what was in it . For all I know it could have been my day's worth of calories! Then the next day I was up over a pound! Next time I go there (it's beautiful, and a great spot to meet people) I'm sticking with the dinner menu - salmon or filet mignon! To heck with the chef's carby, caloric creations. I really do wish that all restaurants would provide full info on every dish's ingredients, calories and carbs. It could be done unobtrusively, just a sheet in the back of the menu, and lots of people would appreciate it. Oh well, live and learn! Next time I will ask for details! But aside from that, I had a wonderful time, it was fantastic being with my kid, his wife and her mom!

Some girl talk, sorry guys: Later, I went to Nordstrom and finally bought myself some new bras, hallelujah. My old ones were way too big and it was way past time to replace them. I have gone down five (!!!) band sizes since surgery to a 34, but up 2 cup sizes, as those proportionately get smaller with each smaller band. Size-wise this sounds like I must have a huge, flamboyant chest, but I really don't think I do, it just looks pretty normal to me. I figure when I'm done with losing in December (or January, or whenever it happens - I'm here for the duration!), I will probably be another band size down. That's pretty amazing to me - it's been a long time.

QOTD: I love all of the seasons, but fall is my absolute favorite. I'm especially looking forward to being further north this year and getting to see the flaming autumnal colors the trees will sport! I love everything about fall, the foliage and the crisp air, the bombardier nut trees releasing their acorns, hazelnuts, etc. The scent of rich earth, fallen leaves, woodsmoke, mushrooms, and golden honey that permeates the woods and meadows. Really, just everything in fall is glorious to me! I'm an October baby, can you tell? I hope that it's not non-stop rain, drizzle and that the sky will at least sometimes be a rich, pure cobalt rather than being continuously overcast. This will be my first fall and winter in the PNW. I actually like rain so I am hopeful the colder months will be enjoyable for me up here, and not too glum. I normally don't mind winter or the cold and I hope for some snow! I will see how I feel it it's overcast and rainy for months, though. I think I will probably be just fine! I adore the winter holidays, summer is a joy though I prefer temperatures under 85 or so, spring is so exciting and beautiful, but for me, Autumn wears the crown! And of course I love to wear tall boots, and I have a perfectly (some might say ridiculously excessive) Imelda-esque boot wardrobe! I love wearing tights, cashmere, beautiful wrap or pencil skirts, etc. I have always favored cold weather clothing over summery garb. And I love pumpkins, soups and stews, rich warming spices, and Halloween, All Souls, and All Saints Days. Bring it on!

First: many flavorful cups of tea!

B: ham with Swiss cheese melted on top

L: shrimp

D: salmon

S: more shrimp

Wishing one and all a wonderful day! Be happy today!

Why thank you! Lol! My old ones were doing my figure no favors whatsoever, if you get my drift! Northwards ho! New ones were long past due!

Bras and underwear were the last things I purchased during my weight loss phase. I literally rolled out of my underwear while sleeping-I knew it was time then. Lol. TMI

I was about at that point too, Kelly! In fact, I still wear the same nightgown as before my surgery - a 3X! It's quite literally as roomy as a tent. Dreaming under the big top!
