Good morning! It is going to be super hot today, but we are going sailing with friends so it shouldn't be too bad on the water.

QOTD: My favorite things about Fall have changed over the years as my life has changed. Until I retired, it was Indian Summer days, the leaves turning, and reduced traffic on Cape Cod! I guess it still includes them, but I am also looking forward to our Florida return.

2 Years, 5 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 21 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: fish (out to lunch)

D: Leftover veal or chicken

S: cottage cheese or Ostrim meat stick

I got a coupon for a free bag off of FB and found them at Sprouts. They were 3.99 for a two-serving size bag, I don't know if I'd buy them at that price but free is well..free LOL

They are okay. They have a little after "heat" but kind of bland if that makes sense?

Mornin' All!

I had a good PS post-op yesterday in Chicago - I go back in three weeks. Hopefully DH can come next time!! I may spend an extra day there and do something, though - it seemed like a really rushed trip..

not much on the agenda today. The architect is coming today at 1:00 with his sketchings of our proposed screened porch - looking forward to seeing those. If they can't get in fairly soon to build it, though, we may have them wait until the spring. I want to be able to use it right away after it's built - not just admire it from inside the house!

accountability was OK the last couple of days, but my weight is up slightly this morning. Hopefully it's just sodium from all the Middle Eastern food I had while in Chicago!

QOTD: Like Karen, the big thing I DON'T like about fall is that means winter is coming - if it weren't for that, it would be my favorite season BY FAR! I love the crisp weather, fall clothes, fall foods - apple things, pumpkin things, "warm" spices like cinnamon, hot tea...

3 years 2 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade blueberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein shake

L: probably pimento cheese with crackers again - or cottage cheese

AS: L&F yogurt or protein pudding

D: ugh - I forgot to defrost something. Maybe zoodles with turkey meatballs?
