What's on your Terrific Tuesday Menu?

I actually get kind of excited for those first signs of winter. First snow, early evenings, it gives me a calming cozy sense of "hunkering down." But after Christmas I'm over it! :P

Yeah, Cassie, I guess I wouldn't mind Winter so much if it only lasted through Christmas! LOL! Those Nebraska blizzards we sometimes get in April, though. sheesh! Enough already! I do think our winters have been much milder than I remember as a child, though. Global warming, I'm afraid.

I agree. I remember having to wear a winter coat over my Halloween costume as a kid, but we got married on Oct 29th two years ago and it was still 80 degrees! And not nearly as much snow once winter finally sets in, but worse with the warmer temps, we get freezing rain instead. Ugh!

I remember on Halloween when we had such a huge blizzard that they cancelled Halloween and postponed it to a week later. I think that was in the early 1990's.

I know what you mean, Karen. Fall would probably be my favorite season IF it didn't mean that winter is coming!!

So true, Trish! I wish we could just bypass Winter and go from Fall to Spring. I guess I live in the wrong state! LOL!

I am the same way about fall...I do love the weather and I love Halloween and everything else about fall, EXCEPT that I know it's the precursor to winter which I hate, and I do also get seasonal depression in winter :(
