Swelling at incision site

Hello, I am four days post. I am experiencing pain and swelling at one incision location. They said in the hospital it appeared normal and was just the site where the surgeon did the most work. Did anyone experience anything like this? I am concerned it's a possible hernia. It's definitely swollen, bruised and very painful especially when I cough or bend over. Everything else is healing great.

Yes, mine were also swollen, looked like little lumps under my inscisions. Normal :) they are flat now.

Yes, stitches were internally poking me at one or my incisions for about 2 weeks...turned into a small infection and my body finally rejected the annoying little stitch. Jus****ch out for signs of infection.

Thanks for the responses. I am seeing the surgeon tomorrow due to the how large the area is that is inflamed. Hopefully it's nothing and is just part of the normal healing process...
