Good morning everyone~ Peach - wow, you have come so far! I forget what everyone looked like before even though I've seen pictures many times. This is including me, I am just stunned most of the time. My kitty seems to have calmed down. We think he was irritated by topical flea meds but seemed to calm down after I rubbed the area with a dry cloth and brushed through it several times. I know he doesn't like it, but he has never acted like that before. I think he is also missing my son too - he's been spending a lot of time in his room and sitting in his doorway. It's my half day at work then it's hair time and a pedi too! It's a good day.

QOTD - I would name my boat Mamie Pearl - my great grandmothers name. She was a strong, fiercely independent lady who was quite a pistol from what I've heard. She died when I was a baby. I wish I could have known her. The engagement ring I wear came from her.

So glad Buds is feeling better! Those topical flea drops always worry me, though occasionally I have used them (while crossing fingers and saying a prayer) on my two little cats.

I love the name Mamie Pearl! Sounds like flappers, pearl-handled pistols a la Miss Fischer, shockingly modern bobs, and speakeasies!

Good morning and happy Friday. Now if I can just make it through the next 10 hours, I'll be home free. I may force myself to take "happy hour" spin so I leave work at a decent hour.

My picture is from dinner on Wednesday night. I've been friends with the two in the picture for more than 15 years. Funny thing is we like to say we all went to UCLA, but didn't go to school together since we didn't meet there. We met at the gym years later.
