G'morning all,

Shauna - you look GREAT!! Love the pics.

Busy weekend ahead of us, but first gotta survive Friday. One of those end of the week super busy days.

QOTD: something along the lines of "his toy, not mine"! I would never get a boat, I get sea sick. Even on Disney Cruise with that huge ship I was the only one who got sick. But give me a raft, where there is a lot of actions then I'm good, go figure.

Accountability: great

B: protein coffee

L: Epic chicken and parm cheese (on the road)

S: beef stick

D: if I get home taco meat, if not another epic chicken.

Pictures are of a coastal hike we took while on Kauai and DS on first day of school (jr year) with Luna, our pup.

Happy Friday!

Thanks Cara. The whole purpose of losing weight was to keep up with my active/outdoorsy family. I'm loving all the activities.

Mornin'!

Ruthie kitty is doing very well recovering from surgery. She somehow kept getting her E collar off, so we just gave up. At 19, she's no longer very flexible, so I'm not even sure she can reach the stitches. We've been checking them a couple of times a day - so far, so good. The vet thinks some of the cells are likely malignant (we'll know for sure by Monday), but she's pretty sure she got it all. Yay!!

It's supposed to rain again today and Sunday. I'm worried. The river and lakes in our city are at flood stage. Luckily, our neighborhood is on a hill, so we should be OK, but much of the city could be in danger. Plus I have a post-op appt in Chicago on Monday morning and need to be able to get out of here sometime Sunday. Ugh. I guess all we can do is sit and wait and see what happens..

QOTD: my immediate response is something with "cats" ....Catamaran? (ha ha). Not sure, really. I can't imagine ever owning a boat, to be honest..

3 years 2 months out:

B: Fage plain yogurt with 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder and raspberries

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein shake

L: pimento cheese and crackers

AS: protein shake or L & F yogurt

D: pulled pork?
