I am so sorry that you are having a rough time. Not being able to keep anything down is not normal and if you haven't reached out to you surgeon or team you should do that ASAP and let them know of your symptoms. Risk of dehydration is of concern and you may have a stricture or something else going on. Please take good care of yourself.
I agree with calling your surgeon ASAP. You do not want to become dehydrated.
Min the meantime, try different temperatures. I couldn't do cold right away, but found hot and warm to be better. I drank a lot of hot tea, hot dtrained soups (with unflavored protein added), etc. might be worth trying while you wait to hear from your surgical team?

post op can be an ordeal. I hope that you are on your way to some sweet relief and feeling better
HoJo: Glad you're getting IV fluids today as dehydration can often cause nausea. But after today, your #1 job must be consuming more than 64 oz of water a day; otherwise, you may end up in the same situation or worse. The key is TINY sips so you may need to be sipping all day long. And some folks do better with ho****er, others lukewarm, and others ice cold. Experiment to see what works best for you. Good luck.
