The last time I logged in I was at my goal
- Well I obtained an additional 3 lb weight loss. I have since gained 12 pounds that crept up on me from lack of working out. I am watching my diet and stopped drinking the sugary drinks that I added back into my diet, but what else can I do? I can still fit my clothes, but I want to get back down. I have also begun bike riding which has me yoyoing between 125 and 127. Any motivation will be appreciated. I know this problem is not that big, but please be respectful.
Lack of working out wasn't the cause for regain, it was the extra calories. Ramping up your exercise now us good for your health, but it will actually make you stall on thge scale.
Try weighing and tracking everything you eat for a wh Ile. It really helps rein in extra calories. A 12 pound regain is a lot more doable than 40. It's good that you caught yourself early.

Thank you Grim..... I've been trying to keep my excercise to a minimal, because the weight fell off when I wasn't excercising As much. I know that I've been eating a lot more than normal and have to pay attention to my calorie restriction and have protein first in. I also have to give up bread and eat boiled eggs in the morning instead of just toast. I don't want it to get out of hand. Riding a bike is the only ccardio ive been doing and that has been 20 minutes a day...... I'm trying to tone my arms by doing push-ups and using the medicine ball for squats. There is a fine line to how much excervise yo do because I want to tone, but am I still doing too much????
By all means, exercise. Just beware that your weight will bounce around a little more, but over a longer term, your weight will show the same loss .
Toast is the devil. There are a lot of former toast addicts on OH.
