Mornin' All!
Getting tired of the pain/discomfort (more discomfort now) from the PS, but I know it'll be awhile longer. Ugh. It's looking better and better every day, though - I thinking I'm going to be really happy that I did this!
several little things to tie up today - not sure about the rest of the week. I think on Sunday nights or Monday mornings from now on I'm going to have to plan my week. I need to keep fairly busy, or I'll start going nuts. Luckily, there's a lot to do around here...
QOTD: I don't pay attention to fashion trends since I saw pretty much everything on campus - and I never really knew what were trends and what were people just wearing weird things. I did google cold shoulder tops just now since I wasn't sure what those were, and yea - I've seen a lot of them around. It does seem like a trend that'll pass pretty quickly...
weight's been hovering around 146, which I'm ecstatic about. Not sure if they took off four pounds of skin or if it's my somewhat decreased food intake (probably both), but I'm hoping I'll stay here...
2 years 3 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop protein powder and raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake

AS: protein shake
D: pulled pork, vegetables

I was wondering if they told you the skin weight? On the skin shows they always show and share the skin/weight after surgery.

My PS said that they removed about 2.5 pounds of skin from my ab. When I was surprised that it was only that amount, he said that there was no fat to remove so it was only skin. He explained that some people, even if they have lost alot of weight, still have a fair amount of fat attached to their skin so it weighs more.

I didn't ask although i probably should have. Unless he wrote it down, I doubt he'll remember by the time I see him next Monday for my second post op visit. Although all three surgeons I did consults with said I didn't have much excess body fat, so I wasnt expecting to lose more than about five pounds tops. So four is probably about right...
Good morning! I hoping back on the menu thread wagon 0.0
Today is the first day of classes, wish me luck lol
QOTD: Hmmm I don't know, but I'll be sure to read others responses so I can avoid those lol
I'm using a new nutritional format for my posts fyi to save time as I'm writing this on the bus. It'll be calories/carbs/protein. No fat info as I don't care about that :D
