I see you got your progranola. Well, what's your review of it? A little advice, you know speaking for a friend..... when one chooses to not portion it out (even though "one" knows "one" should always measure a serving)and eats 3 servings in a 24 hour period the fiber content is something fierce and others in the household may need to escape until the gas subsides.

So far I love the vanilla, they are like barely sweet crispy cookies, yum! The vegan cinnamon sunflower butter flavor about cracked all my teeth it was so hard!

OMG you are so funny!! Good to know about eating too much being ''too much''! So far I've been a good girl, but I'm only 3 days into that bag - stuff happens, I know. I've been warned!!

Afternoon Menu Friends!


I keep saying I'm going to be back in here full time and keep falling off the wagon of posting. I don't ever get online at home..so if I don't do it at work I forget!

QOTD--Chaco sandals..I don't like them at all. The kids here all wear them. Including MY OWN..lol! I just think they're ugly.

I also deactivated my FB account a couple years ago. The only thing I miss about it is the birthday's..I never know when peoples birthdays are now. lol! I even carry a planner but that doesn't ever help. I'm the most disorganized organized person. Oh and my kids events..My daughter is part of an indepedent Winter guard and my son is part of a drum corps and all of their schedules are on FB, so we have to rely on them remembering to tell us.

I talked with a trainer from my gym over the weekend, I want to do more than just attend the few classes a week or bike riding that I do. She is fully booked except for Friday's and I only work a half day on Friday's so we have decided to start meeting on Friday's when I get out of work and just doing one day a week for now. Then when I'm ready and she's not as busy we can add more days. Im trying to love the gym and working out. I still haven't gotten there yet. So hoping this will help.

L-Smoked Chicken leftover from last nights dinner and 1/2 of a side salad

D-Probably leftover chicken again, or maybe leftover Chili. I didn't take out anything to cook after work tonight.

My trainer does cyber sessions if you are interested. He's great and it's nice not to have the excuse of having to drive to the gym. Let me know if you'd like his info.

Crazy week for me. We just returned from visiting friends late last night and have company arriving in a couple of hours, staying for several days. I still have some household prep to do.

QOTD: I am betting someone has already mentioned it but I don't have time to read. The young guys wearing pants under their butts still seems to be around in some places though it has certainly already subsided (thank goodness). Not only do they look like they are going to lose their pants any moment but they walk like penguins!

Accountability: Not great but not terrible while visiting our friends. I'm not going to kick myself too much.

2 Years, 4.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

Hello Menu Friends! Happy Moon-day!

I'm down 1.6 pounds today, yay!

Trying to be productive today - work is slow, as it often is in August, folks are on vacation. I don't mind the activity level, but I really do mind the income drop! I'm taking the opportunity while things are slow to reorganize my closets, product storage, and work areas. I have a big closet in the bedroom but still there isn't really enough room for all of my clothing, so I've been going through things and winnowing out what fits now, what will fit shortly, and what is too big. Considering if I like the too big things enough to stitch up new, slimmer seams, or if I should just get rid of them. Moving whole portions of my closet to a a second closet, because as is things are so stuffed in there I can't even really see what I have.

QOTD: I agree with many of the things which were mentioned! Overall though I hope that in 5 years we Americans will look back on things and feel ourselves to be in a different place, more accepting, kinder, more respectful of others, more civilized, and more united culturally. I hope we will look back on the divisiveness we are experiencing today and wonder what we were thinking! Hey - I can dream!
