Hi Cara, have been missing your posts for a while...I was gone. Hope all is well. Are you getting close to goal? The clothes NSV is always the one that thrills me the most. During Nordstrom end of summer sale I got a bunch of long cardigans that would go perfect with tight pants/leggings and a tight top. I ordered a pair of thick leggings in size M because the reviews said they run small. I gotta say I put them on - leggings and the long cardigans (imagining going to all the Waterpolo games during the colder months and being on pool deck) and I didn't look half bad! It's the first time in about 20 years that I look in the mirror and think "not bad" instead of "yuck"! Anyway, sorry for rambling on, just wanted to say great job with the skirt.

Hi Sheila!

I've missed you too, but I know you had a wonderful vacation!

I can just see you in those new leggings and long cardigans - I'm sure you look flat-out gorgeous! I agree with you - the clothes NSVs are such a thrill! Plus, for me, the boots! Up here they have a long wearable season. For years I couldn't wear knee-high boots because my calves had become too fat. Now I can make up for lost time lol! Silly, but that really pleases me! Boots, tights, pencil skirt, narrow sweater, fabulous!

I'm moving slowly towards goal, with the emphasis on slowly. These days, the scale is being a bit peevish. Yesterday I was down a pound, but today I have re-acquired it. That's how it's going - lots of dithering up and down a pound of so, and then a gradual movement downward. This past month I lost about 2 pounds a week, and I hope that rate won't slow too much further. We will see!

I am as of today 17 pounds from my first goal, then want to drop further to give myself more wiggle room and to see, really, where I want to be. My BMI is still 2 pounds in the overweight category. Before I enter maintenance, I'd like to be in the low to middle of the normal/healthy BMI category. My attitude is, however long it takes, it takes - I'm not going anywhere and I can and will outlast this past slower portion of weight loss - as always, God willing!

I'm thrilled for you in your new clothes. I know you look not just not bad, but amazing! Onwards and downwards for us both! Xox!

I know the feeling about slow loss. I was stuck since July 4th, then all of a sudden I dropped 3.4 this week. Go figure. But as you said; I'm staying here and keeping it up until I reach goal. I still don't know what my real goal should be but I'll take it day by day.

Talk to you soon. xo

Wow, congrats on your 3.4 pound loss this week! That's got to feel great! I just realized that you and I had our RnYs the same month! Mine was on 6/12/17, just 2 weeks before yours. Kinda cool, we are at about the same point, timewise!
