What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?
Good Morning Peach and Menu Family!
QOTD: Nope. I think I've been to a casino maybe twice in my life and limited myself to losing maybe $50. I've played Keno once in a while with friends for fun. I limit myself to losing $10 or so. I've bought a few scratch-off tickets just for the fun of scratching them off. I've never won anything substantial.
Accountability: I had another day where all I wanted to do was EAT! I'm not even going to report my calories from yesterday. They were high. Today's another day. I weighed myself today and I'm still at 137 in spite of eating like a horse the past few days. Whew!
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana
L: going to be out of town so fast food somewhere. Likely a burger without the bun.
D: banana, sugar free jam, peanut butter on 45 calorie bread
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, frozen yogurt
E: walking dogs
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen
Good morning! It was supposed to rain here yesterday too but ended up hot and sunny. I was just out on the deck a few minutes ago and it did start rumbling, then sprinkling so who knows what today will bring?
QOTD: No gambling at all: No casinos, no lottery, no betting with friends on sports. I don't like the odds (might be the math major in me OR that I like to have control over outcomes as much as I can). Casinos also make me crazy with the lights, noise and smoke. I've walked through a couple and feel like my senses are being assaulted. I do have investments which sometimes feel like gambling, but they are all very conservative.
Accountability: The last couple of days I've had a slice of bread with peanut butter in the evening. I don't need it! So weird that I crave peanut butter when I disliked it pre-WLS.
2 Years, 4.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Making a new chicken recipe (I have 2 I bought ingredients for)
S: Siggis yogurt or homemade cottage cheese with fresh berries

Good morning Peach and menu crew. Antibiotics are finally doing the job and I am getting back to normal, still stuffy as hell and no fever last night. I had to go to Montreal to do a press run yesterday, if not for that I would have taken the day off.
QOTD - quick gambling story, when I was a newlywed my wife worked afternoons and I was on day shift, I had alot of free time and hung out with some buddies. One of my buddies had started to bet on sports and had won $500 bucks the week prior so we all got in on the action. The gambling cycle went weekly. First night of the week we bet a "sure thing" and were quickly down $100 bucks...we had the rest of the week to make it back and lets just say it did not go as planned. I got out at $500 down and one buddy was up to $1000 down...I paid the bills and could have let it slide, but I told my wife. Lets just say I have not bet since....

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I got 3 miles in this morning before we got drenched and so we'll try to do2 more miles sometime later. QOTD no--too much of a tightwad. It seems to have spread on my stomach and looks red and irritated now especially in the skin folds. Have to love all the extra skin--not! Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 1 c beef stew(no potatoes) D 4 oz taco meat with lettuce, tomato and salsa S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added jam.
