Ugh! Maybe urgent care can help with ways to imobilize it so you can start to heal. Toes are so hard to keep still!

Hi menu pals! Happy Wednesday!
Sorry to hear about your employee, Peach. It's sad and of course utterly unacceptable, and I don't envy you having to handle her. How did it become known that she was at the casino when she left work?
QOTD: I'm definitely not a gambler, though I will buy a lottery ticket from time to time when the pot is super big, and have won occasional smallish amounts of money. My brother used to buy a ton of various scratch-offs for a Christmas treat for everyone, and we'd all sit around scratching and hoping. The last time I had Christmas with them, I won something like $100 or $120, and we all combined and split our winnings. But I don't like slot machines, I really don't like casinos, and I am not much of a card player, plus I'm averse to throwing money away. My son, on the other hand, is an accomplished poker player and has won much more than he's lost. I was iffy about his getting so good at poker until I saw how much he disliked losing, and how willing he is to call it quits while he's ahead. He has a keen statistical mind. On the other hand, I do know a guy whose terrible gambling addiction cost him a job, his beautiful home, and his marriage. He is a sweet guy in many ways, blazingly talented in high level sales, and in so many ways so smart and gutsy, but wow what a flaw. He will follow a hot run up to big money, then continue to chase it when his luck turns and flickers out, certain that the fast path to a pot of gold is in each next hand. He has all kinds of gambling-related supernatural beliefs and superstitions, too. It really is an addiction, staking everything to catch greased lightning! He chases the rush of emotion, the thrill, much more than the money itself. It would be ok if he knew when to quit, but he just doesn't. It is a type of sickness. For him, casinos are very dangerous environments.
First: tea, tea, and more tea!
B: Ham with Swiss cheese melted on top
L: shrimp (I was sick last time I made shrimp, and wow! Was that ever painful! This time I'm sticking with tiny salad shrimp, which I find much easier to digest than the big guys).
D: Roast beast
S: a little more shrimp!
Have a lovely day and keep focused!
I hope the shrimp go well this time. They are so packed with protein and low in calories.

HI all! Happy Wednesday! The rest of my week will be crazy, my boss is in town and when he's here, I become his admin and assistant along with my regular job, plus we were given a crunch project that I have to coordinate across internal and external resources to deliver friday morning. Headed to the office to be there by 5:30 so I'll post quick for accountability and planning and then come back tonight to catch up!
QOTD - a friend and I take turns buying a powerball ticket for the month, so far we've won 0000 but I'm not a big gambler, my natural father had serious gambling issues...like demoted in rank by the Army serious so if I'm in vegas or anything like that, I might put a dollar in a slot machine but I'm very controlled.
Accountability: ended at 436/63/13 and 119 oz fluid on a plan of 487/73/13 and 100 oz fluid. I was pretty full all day after my roast beef lunch so I didn't have my planned snack and traded out my roast beef dinner to just light and fit greek and a volpi stick.
B - .5 premiere + coffee
L - volpi stick and light and fit greek
D - 3 oz roast beef, .5 oz cheddar, 3 pepperoncini
Optional - chomps in reserve
476 cal, 68 protein, 13 carbs
Have a great wednesday!

Happy hump day!
So sorry you have to deal with your employee. Can't be easy.
QOTD I may buy a lottery ticket once or twice a year when pot is ridiculously high. Our office has a lottery club, but I dont participate. When some girlfriends and I went on a short Bahamas cruise, I played some game, dont even know what it was. Won $80, promptly quit and next day went to the on board $10 store and bought 8 scarves. One in every color! Really don't like losing money, so I think that keeps me from getting addicted.
Yesterday cals 788, protein 96, carbs 32, fat 31. Today B 1st tea with half and half then a boiled egg and other egg without the yolk. L tuna salad. D baked chicken breast. Snacks. Celery with light babybel, 2 slices cooked ham.
