Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have 4 miles in already and she is snoring loudly beside me now. We'll do another mile at least this evening. QOTD in the mountains of Tennessee. Beautiful country and friendly people there. Accountability was great yesterday with 10,123 steps and no extra bites. Starting to feel the effects of the high dose of prednisone the clinic put me on for my poison ivy--the urge to snack. At least I don't feel quite as miserable as I did yesterday. I have a feeling I'll be taking extra walks wnd knitting lots for the next few days! Post op 5 years 11.5 months and weight at 120 today. Happy Tuesday! I get back to training today! Starting with pilates at 8am, then personal training at 9:30. I am super excited to get back to work.
Qotd: I have lived in every corner of this country and near the middle as well. If I had to move from where I am now, which I absolutely love and adore, I would probably choose somewhere with very few bugs, cold weather, very few people, and amazing scenery. However, I also need the convenience of a big city nearby with things like Amazon prime now and nice shopping... not sure such a place exists though...
Accountability: A very dear friend is moving today to NYC. We got together yesterday for a last lunch and she chose Sushi. I am not supposed to have anything raw yet so I chose a small bento box thing with teriyaki chicken. It should have been fine but I tried the tempura fried shrimp first, immediate foamies! In the restaurant! I couldn't eat anything else and I got sick... lesson learned.
