Hi Kathy,

My Endo thinks I might have scar tissue causing an obstruction. I am having pain in the surgery area and spasms which are quite painful. So he (ENDO) recommended a Dr Dominick Gadaleta from Northwell Health to take a look. Do you know anything about him??

Thanks

Cindy

Wow, you're story is so similar to mine but my weight gain last year was caused by peri-menopause. I got up to 192 and when I realized I was close to hitting 200 again I panicked. After much research, I decided to give Keto a try, but I had to modify because of course we need more protein than is traditional. I have a link in my signature line on my journey (down 44 lbs in 8 months), or feel free to reach out to me privately I'm always happy to talk to anyone :)

One thing my endo warned me about was iron blocks synthroid absorption. They should never be taken together and now that I am going through IV iron treatments my synthroid is fighting a losing battle. It is a fine balancing act of which is the biggest crisis at the moment. Good luck.
