Afternoon everyone! Hope you all had a fab weekend :) We worked on a car we have for my son to start driving. (He got his license Friday) Had some body damage but was a nice first vehicle overall so my husband ordered the fenders and hood and we worked on that all day Saturday, then last night went to a concert. We are too OLD to be out until 2am at concerts then up at 5:30 for work thats for sure! LOL!

QOTD: Our summer officially ended with the school calendar already. School started August 2nd for my son. But he's a band kid so he's been back b/c of band camp since Mid-July. Not sure how many of you are familiar with Drum Corps, but he was offered a contract with a drum corps group in January and every single weekend since then we take him to a school about an hour away on Friday and pick him up on Sunday. Their finals are in Pennsylvania Labor day weekend so thankfully that running will be done. But then we roll into football and competition season.

My husband and I have a trip to the beach planned in November for our 21st anniversary..not so much for the beach but just to get away for our anniversary, then a family trip to Nashville the week before Christmas, since Thomas was so busy over the summer. The Christmas week is the only week he will be on break, we can take vaca, and our daughter will be on college break.

Accountability--I've been having a huge issue with wanting to snack lately. Need to figure out how to get away from that.

Menu:

B:Premier protein

S: Greek yogurt

L:3oz can of chicken mixed with pickles, mustard, and a bit of mayo. On a josephs mini pita.

D: Not sure yet, I've made a casserole my son wanted but its loaded with noodles and junk so I wont eat that.

I have 2 nephews from Richmond, VA who were in Drum Corps until they aged out. They said it was the best experience and they had the time of their lives!! Hard work, great program!!

Maybe something denser for breakfast or snack may help with the desire to snack?

I've have some good trips this year. I liked going to Broadway shows with my twin. I'm planning a fall trip to Orcas island.

In 26 hours my son returns after being in France for 6 weeks. He says he needs Dr Pepper and pizza as soon as he gets home.

I am ill and not eating. I am good on fluids. I will eat crackers today.
