What's on your Monday menu RNYer's?
Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have our 4 miles in and will do another after supper. QOTD more traveling. We leave the 23rd to head to Eva Tennessee to work at Lakeshore Methodist Assembly for three weeks then will mess around in Tennessee until a conference we will attend starts in Memphis on the 22nd of September. It's the annual meeting for the Nomads and looks to be lots of fun! Then home for a week and a half and then off to northeast Louisiana! We'll settle down more once cold weather gets here--maybe? Miserable today as Igot into poison ivy and or pokeweed when clearing out a hedge with hubby the other day. The rash isdriving me crazy. Trying to dry it up with ivydry but may have to resort to the express clinic. We'll see. Accountability was great with 11,801 steps and no extra bites and weight is heading down too. Post op 5 years 11.25 months and weight at 120.2 today. Heres the food B 1scrambled eggs and 1 sausage patty L r oz deli chicken with cheese 3 baby carrots D 4 oz leftover baked chicken on 1/2 c salad with 1 T ranch dressing S sm apple eith peanut butter(1T). Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices!
SO sorry about the rash. I can get a rash even from English ivy and other plants that aren't usually considered "poisonous." Don't hesitate to go to the clinic for something to help the itching and to dry it up faster. You don't need to be in misery!

Already did. Hubby insisted when he saw how much it spread overnight. Got a dose pack of my least favorite drug--prednisone. Hopefully I canignore the urge to snack and it clears up fast. I also took some Benadryl and now I just want to sleep. I didn't get much sleep last night because of the itching so I'm sure that's part of it too.
Yes the Benedryl should help the itching a lot. I agree about not liking Prednisone but hopefully you won't have to be on it long and it does the trick. Take care and lots of knitting!

Good morning menu buddies! It feels good to have slept in my own bed last night. But being on the west coast no matter how early I get up I always feel late posting here! Everything should be back to normal today, my husband went to work, I am home alone all day to catch up on laundry and get an awful lot done. I love it.
Qotd: The only thing I really have left on my summer plans is actually in preparation for Christmas. We need to buy a fold out sofa bed thingy. With a family of 4 and a couple visiting us for Christmas we need more places for people to comfortably sleep. We have the rooms and bathrooms for everyone, but I don't think they would want to sleep in sleeping bags!
I weighed in this morning and came in at 210.1. Before we left I was 217.7. Super happy that I lost on vacation especially since I had a tough time sticking to clean protein all the time.
Accountability: I love Alaska Airlines. It is so easy to get in protein with their new menu options.
Bf: 3 oz Siggi's vanilla nonfat yogurt (bought the wrong kind last night will fix it today), 37g ProGranola
MS: 1 babybel, 1/2 small banana, 1/2 premier protein
L: 2 Chicken meatballs, 4 triscuits
AS: 1 Ostrim Applewood Smoked Turkey Stick
D: Not sure yet because I haven't made the grocery list. But I am very excited to make something myself! Protein!
Aiming for 950 calories, 85g Protein, 120oz Water, maybe 30 minutes on the treadmill, all vitamins.

Good morning~ I had a very nice and relaxing weekend :) Next weekend will be busy so I enjoyed every minute of this one. Rushed around this morning, discombobulated a bit at home, forgetting things left and right - so unlike me. Then at work - a staff members birthday - had to hurry and get her desk decorated and flowers cut and arranged, computer password issues, one thing after another... then and tons of email/VM from taking Friday off. I think I'm ready for a nap! Hopefully it means the day will fly by. Anyway - I'm here, finally have a cup a coffee and I'm ready to sort through the rest of the day.
QOTD - Not to rub it in, but in CA summer is really through November. And then, it's only fall, until it's spring and then summer again. Unless it's there has been heavy rain - you can basically do anything year round. My free time/activity and vacations revolve more around sports and especially football than the season. So I try to get as much in w/Rob as possible before College AND NFL take the whole weekend. Most other sports Rob is somewhat willing to tape... Like this weekend he taped golf so we could get out together.
Accountability - great

Your Rob and my Kris are twins! It's ridiculous. Saturday is Michigan football and Sunday is Rams football EVERY. DAMN. WEEKEND. And he had golf on alllll day yesterday. I heard the announcer say "this is the last Masters until blah blah blah in April" and I may have said "THANK GOD". How are they so sports-obsessed? He's already trying to plan how to watch the Rams at Seahawks game from his iPad at 1 am while we are in Israel in early October!
