Happy Friday menu folks. I see everybody's lookin good in their photos which is awesome.

QOTD. It was on my third visit to the ER in 6 months for a gallbladder attack. When I told the doctor why I was there he basically said "And you still have your gallbladder because....?" I made an appt to see a surgeon the next day. But before the visit of course I watched a bunch of YouTube vids of the surgery. One of the things that stood out was all the fat the surgeons had to burn through to get to the gallbladder. So I asked the surgeon if my big fat belly was going to be a problem for him. I'll never forget his response. "For me it's not a problem. But for you it will be your biggest health concern going forward". So then we started talking about all the different health issues obesity contributes to. And then asked me "would you consider weight loss surgery?" That was it. Six words from a guy I met 20 minutes earlier and he basically transformed my life. He didn't even do weight loss surgery anymore. I started the process the next day. A few weeks later after the gallbladder procedure and I knew how easy laparoscopic surgery was, I was 100% sold. Honestly I never even considered bariatric surgery before that day.
